At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

Most people simply enter the foreign exchange market without comprehending matters like this. The first stage in building money is determining your goals and risk tolerance, which you may do on your own or with the assistance of a financial counselor who works with a verified Finance agency. And also you can learn the facts about saving and investing and create a clear plan, you should be able to acquire financial security over time and enjoy the benefits of income management.

That is why I work with John Desmond Heppolette, who introduced me to a better Financial community, a verified agency where I learned how money works and how to create it, as well as free books, courses, and daily lectures. You’re right! Working with a financial advisor who has worked in a solid financial firm for a long time, such as John Desmond Heppolette, will actually set you up for success in life. I'm delighted I was able to reach out to him earlier this year because while others were grumbling about the downturn in the markets due to the state of the economy, I was busy learning from him and eventually made over seven figures in the first quarter alone, which is why it's always good to join the correct community.

Companies filing for bankruptcy due to a variety of reasons, such as heightened competition from online retailers and discount stores, a decline in sales, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company's strategy for recovery involves a restructuring plan that concentrates on its most profitable stores to enhance its financial standing. As for your financial objectives, it is admirable to aim for a portfolio worth no less than $850,000 before you reach the age of 65. If you're interested in potential investments, seeking guidance from a financial advisor could be beneficial.

Actually the collapse of Sears holdings is all on Eddie Lampert. He was CEO of Sears and became CEO of Kmart while they were in bankruptcy so had Sears buy a number of closing Kmart locations in crap areas for top dollar
Which he funneled into his own hedge fund company
He also sold many proprietary brands and stripped the company of any assets so the company would be easy for his hedge fund and property companies to buy the remaining parts and use them for other ventures

That and he implemented policies that forced divisions of the company to compete with each other. This was the reason LG began to be emphasized over Kenmore in showrooms and sales: the internal pricing to move Kenmore stock between the divisions was so inflated that the margins on LG sales were better for the division.

What happened to Tower Records happened to HMV in the UK, it's just the technology catching up with them, like Blockbuster. Then the sets got cheaper in the eighties and the shops went bust.

I started working for RadioShack in the early 2000's, starting as a salesman and working up to store management. I had a front-row seat and watched as RadioShack went from one of the go-to places for home electronics and DIY parts to a cellphone store that has some other shit in the back. On one side of the store was an 18' foot wall of TVs, VCRs, DVD Players, Cassette and CD players, amplifiers and speakers. On the other side was 18' feet of home telephones. Continuing back, you could find car audio, home peripherals, computers, radios and electronic parts and components along with toys, which became a much more robust section during the holidays.
Near the end of the company, the first half of the store down both sides were dedicated to cellphones and cellphone accessories. The TV and home entertainment section which was the first 18' of the store prominently displayed up front, was shrunk to 4' in the back.
The companies focus shifted from being a go-to electronics store to cellphones. The operation policy was changed to require every store to sell at least two cellphones per day. The busy stores could accomplish this, others could not. Employees who failed to sell cellphones were terminated. With cellular carriers opening their own stores, they became a direct competition to the new business model. RadioShack executives failed to read the customers needs and wants and it ultimately caused the complete failure of the company.

Some of the companies mentioned also spent too much money on being "flashy", like CiT basically renting a whole skyscraper/ highrise building. I feel that many of these companies could have existed today if it wasn't for the CEOs getting multi-million dollar payments regardeless of how the company was doing, not following the obvious move to online purchasing/ dealing, and also spending waaaaaaaay too much money in the short periods when they were at the top.
Also, this video doesn't mention the severance packages that the CEOs and leaderships received, which often was the reason for filing for bankruptcy (ie: the leadership payments was so high that no capital was left to keep the companies running. Campitalism at is best..)
I can't find the story/name at the moment, but there was a story about a japanese CEO who decided to waive his exceytive salary and start helping "on the floor" with a worker's salary to keep his company afloat. This would of course (with some exceptions) be unthinkable in most companies. CEOs always get their money, and then move on to a new job where they still can make millions by running another company to the ground.

As for Pan Am, the financial and energy crises of the ‘70s did hit the airline hard, but it was the tragedy of the Lockerbie bombing of 1988 (or was it ‘89? I can never remember for sure) that sealed their fate.
