Without the two twigs, the kettle would close off the top hole, causing the fire to go out quickly. The continuous airflow between the bottom hole and the top hole is essential for the operation of the stove.
@@milosbulatovic81 I used the swedish torch to make cowboy coffee. It’s brewed by heating ground coffee beans with water and then pouring it into a cup after the grounds have settled. To avoid grounds in the cup, I sometimes stick a few twigs in the opening of the kettle. The twigs hold back the grounds.

Gotta remember to bring that drill with me whenever I go Camping . !
I usually bring your mom and drill her out when I go camping
Smart man sticking pine fronds in the tea kettle spout!!!! No pieces of tea leaves getting in his tea 🍵☕ or grind's in his coffee ☕!!!!
That sound from the auger is so satisfying!!
Hello this swedish torch project is really on my today list this winter! Cant wait to try it...😊
Thank you! It's a nice project, I'm sure you'll love it and it works great.
That's funny. Yea I brought my big drill.
its a hand held auger they're not that hard to come by in the bush crafting community
It's soothing to the soul!
Good job, but it's rather a rocket stove than a swedish torch... 😉
Bellísimo me encanto 👍🏼🙂
Love you from Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤
Bloody genius.
Tank you its verry good
I like both pixels of this movie.
What's the name of the auger you used?
That drill was nameless and unbranded. I ordered it online somewhere years ago. The size is 32 mm.

Hello how are you? Could you tell me the measurements and millimeters of that auger? Please
Hello, the auger is 45 cm long and drills a hole of 32 mm.
@@stugtretton Friend, thanks for answering, I couldn't find the size I needed. Gracias🫶
A ta gałązka w dziubku czajnika w jakim celu, aromatu ???
The twig keeps the coffee grains in the kettle.
Awesome auger 😒
Nombre de la herramienta amigo?
Hand auger 32 mm
This is the best so far
why spruce needles?
The twigs hold back the coffee grounds.
@@stugtretton a ok
I have spent one hour to start fire from this. Probably the wood have to be absolutely dry, which is very very rare in real forest.
Only good if you have an auger. The split log method is better. No special tools other than an hatchet or axe.
Agreed I feel when they start using Chainsaw or electrical drill looses the fun
Pine needle tea!
WoW~
BwahhhHhHhahHa
That took a day to make his first cup of coffee. Hand drill, right
Yeah right. How long did it take you to drill that hole? 😂 Why hide that part? Dakota stove is much easier and quicker to build.
My shoulders started hurting just watching that auger!
I'm Swedish and have never come across this 😅
Do you know Finnskogen?
"Finnish candle" is more useful: you only need a saw
Wow.. a lot of effort for today's campers?
❤❤❤❤
I don't understand why you put two sticks under the pot, when you already had the stump-stove as support 🤣

@@stugtretton *facepalm* Should have thought about that! Thanks 😆

How the hell are u supposed to make this if u don’t have any hands or legs?
Seems like a lot of work to me
Log Rockets.
You should brought a thermos with you-it's much easier than dragging a log!
Tried this and it sucked I couldn't get it to work properly
Try again? Watch a few videos to get a better idea of how it works. You can do it.
all of that is just for a cub of coffee? no thanks
😂😂😂😂
