We had the same pool in the Tuff pool version and really enjoyed it for about 10 years before we put in our in ground pool. We had ours professionally installed at it was NEVER level... no matter what they did. Maybe you have one but you will need a pool cleaner - vacuuming this pool is not easy even if you have a larger pump ( we upgraded ours)The vinyl will generate algae fast! There are not enough returns on this size pool for good circulation so we found the pool cleaner helped a lot... it was an independent cleaner that ran off it's own power. Have so much fun with it! It is a great pool. It is now being used by another family, still going strong for 17 years now!
Looks great JD. We leveled our pool last year using a mini skid steer with a 4ft bucket. Our pool is 9ft x 16ft x 4ft. It took about 3.5 tons of sand to level the area. It was fun running the mini skid steer up and down our hill. Even more fun grading out the area after dumping thr sand. I hope your family enjoys the pool. Thanks for sharing the content.
Looks great. Just gave my pool away after 20 years of good service. I would suggest buying a robotic pool cleaner. I have a Dolphin (nu use for it now) pool cleaner that runs off a low voltage controller. I bought the fine filter as well and I never vacuumed the pool.......ever LOL. It was the last one a series of robotic cleaners and by far was the best. That thing worked great and was designed for above ground pools. It rides on rubber tracks like a miniature tank and is liner friendly. Enjoy!
You're going to enjoy it so much. When the temps are in the 90's in Louisiana and I'm mowing and really suffering from the heat I drive over to the pool and jump in for a 10-15 min swim. I mow in my swim suit and a top like you had on, so I just remove my shoes and swim. One thing, when you mow you have to mow so the discharge blows away from you so you don't get covered in clippings and dust, Sometimes I just mow in one way hit the button and go back to the end of the row and start over , just depends on the wind. But you most likely have figured this out already.
I hope you and your family gets a few years of enjoyment out of your pool. When our son was young , we had a couple of the Big ,round Intek pools. 2 years is about the life of them if you leave up year round. They fail pretty spectacular. First one failed and the tidal wave washed everything off my back porch. Lol
I can’t decide if I’m just super jealous of the pool, I’ve thought about a 8’ water trough but that would mean I’d hafto fight off the cows, horses, dogs and no telling what all else especially since I live in the middle of the pasture without a fenced in yard
JD, gosh, my first thought is why didn't you have the fire department come over and use their equip to fill the pool; seems it MIGHT have been faster! Y'all Be Safe!!
The instructions tell you to use wood under the legs... those two-inch pavers will crack under pressure. Four-inchers would've been better if going the paver route.
The pole is 12ft from the pool and wire is 25ft from the water. The pool is 6.5ft from the underground cable (more like 8' actually). The wire also does not pass over the pool at any point
We used foam sheets under ours when we installed last year. They insulate the bottom of the pool from the ground and also make a nice soft bottom. Highly recommend.
I just bought the same pool for $750 used but it's still in the box never been opened hope I did okay I got a bobcat coming over tomorrow to level my unlevel ground any pointers I was thinking about putting phone installation underneath it to help soften the blow
Sorry, meant to say In-Ground pool. My bad 😃
I am going thru he'll getting my 32x16 pool put up I say maybe by next month lol
I’m in the same boat.
Its amazing you guys down south can grow any kind of vegetation in what look like pure sand for your ground..................
It really is crazy

Enjoy!
Did you take it down every winter?
Nice Job and detailing looks like the addition of the pool will bring your slice of Paradise up to the next level. 😊👍👍👍
Much needed relief my friend
Down there with the 100+ degrees this week, I bet the y’all can’t wait!
Wow I don’t miss that Texas sand! I lived in San Angelo for about 18 months. Love your content though!
The worst thing about a project like this is waiting to finish it so you can enjoy it! Great job.
That's the truth!

Itlooks great so far,JD. Cant wait too see the finished project, very envious
if your local fire dept has a tanker, most for a donation will fill pools. The fire co Im on does it all the time.

We have that same pool. Glad to see u have the sand filter. Ours came with a paper filter. Took two or three hours to clog it up
We had a pool like that(Walmart pool) for about four years. We got a cover for it for winter in Florida (LOL) worked out great.
The ground could be uneven but those liners aren’t always cut straight so going off the squares for level isn’t always the best
Where is the part 2 video showing the wood decking project?
Looks like a nice set up. Shoulda called a water truck to help fill it. Hose looks like it will take forever.
It took a day and a half. Wasn't too bad
@@BTBRVReviews not as bad as i thought, i remember filling a way smaller round pool, seemed like took forever. Enjoy looks great!
I'm feeling a road trip to Texas!🤪
You could order a truck to deliver water for a faster fill. Though I’m guessing you are on a well and it’s cheaper?
Yep
Pretty clear well water.

Redneck Riviera. I love it.
Big Truck Big RV Big Pool... 😁
Bruh went from talking about his pool to advertising the new Dodge RAM in a single breath lol.
I wonder why they made those legs more of a rounded rectangle? They used to be circular which i would think is stronger
The pavers seem wrong. Imo should have been rotated 90 degrees as other youtubers have done. Hope all works out well

What kind of foam did you use between the two tarps.
How close is that electric line ?

How many foam pads did u use
36
May I ask why you used foam boards underneath? We will be doing our pool this weekend and may want to do this too?

What is the salt skimmer used for? Is your water salty in your area?
Skimmer with Salt Water feature
So, every link on the planet, but no link for the pool itself?? 🤔
Do you have a video or photo of the finished pool with deck?
Several
I just put my intex together
Laser level used? You can rent them at most equipment rental yards, that way no mistakes are made.
Yep. I have one
In an act of cruel irony….you need the pool to cool off from the work you’re doing for the pool?!!! 🤪
I just bought the same pool for $750 used but it's still in the box never been opened hope I did okay I got a bobcat coming over tomorrow to level my unlevel ground any pointers I was thinking about putting phone installation underneath it to help soften the blow
Still calling it an “Underground Pool”?
