This is an unbelievably good bot lane guide, not just for supports, but for ADC. 100 out of 10. If I can offer one minor critique, I'd love a mention of not simply executing the cannon minion BECAUSE YOU CAN, which pushes the lane, when you have the advantage in a lane freeze situation. But geez, I really wish every support AND adc would watch this, the lessons in here are phenomenal, and the reason why I keep paying to use skillcapped. Iron to gold in 2 seasons, no shit.
Generally, me as an ADC so often just SUFFERS under a Support killing Minions at half life, especially when I wanted to build up a slow push into hard push setup and immediately there are 2 Melee and the Cannon Minion gone (not speaking about the ones that literally kill your freeze for no reason at all).
I feel so proud of myself that I've discovered these concepts and techniques naturally as I learned the game. To watch an in-depth guide really polishes my game knowledge
That just means you’re too low in elo for them to understand. Just get better at the game and eventually you’ll reach a high enough elo where the midlaner will know what you’re doing and respond accordingly.
Just remember you're not a babysitter. Your adc will cry some games just ignore it. Sometimes lane is just lost and you will want to rotate mid or top. You are the reason your team will win not your teamates. This is not true but you should act like it is
I love a good “this is not true but act as though it is” moment. People cling so dearly to ultimate “truths” about solo queue and the truth is that it’s just a crapshoot where you play your best and stay cool and sometimes you lose anyway and that’s gotta be okay
Fixed min 1:25: "You really don't wanna be leashing, since junglers don't require leashs anymore to clear befor 3:30. And you really don't want to give away your lane pressure"
As a support who is in iron and bronze this guide is great but I can't tell you how many times I go to set up the lvl 2 and my adc doesn't hit the right minons to spike and I die for it. Just rember leaning involves the adc and if they don't know what to do you get stuck under your tower constantly pushed in with them.
Auto the first wave for them to get a push lead, but save your relic charges for the 3 melees on the 2nd wave. You can spike lvl 2 for your adc if you know what you're doing.
Please do not even mention another player except yourself when you say that you are bronze / silver. Look in the mirror , fix yourself and your own gameplay and you will climb.
Yes, if u are bronze u dont even need this guide... this guide feels like gold/emerald+ to me. In bronze u should improve your mechanics and u will be out.
As an honest feedback, sometimes it gets confusing. For example, i hear "if you AD dies 2x1 because you roamed, he would not be able to carry anyway", but then when it is 2x1 against their AD, i hear "thats an easy dive". So I roam, my AD gets dove 2x1, I blane the AD with the argument "you would never be able to carry anyway" since now he just died abd lost a ton of XP and plates
different situations. if your ad dies 2v1 because you roamed on the rebound timer, then chances are they wouldnt be able to carry anyway because their positioning is horrible. if its 2v1 against their ad its an easy dive if the support is roaming on a bad timer. if the enemy support is roaming on the rebound timer, you with your adc can look to try and catch the enemy ad off guard and be the reason why their ad died 2v1 when the support was roaming on the rebound timer. and in scenarios where enemy support roamed on a good timer and the adc still inted and got caught, thats absolutely the adcs fault there, and a lot of people make these mistakes. so when that bad adc is on your team, look to help your other team, and when its on the enemy team, look to take advantage of the enemy adcs mistakes and punish them
The thing about the rebound timer is that it's safer for your ad since they can just wait it out and the wave will land on their lap If the adc is bad then they'll try to push it while it's rebounding and that's when you take advantage off of it If your adc tried to push the lane while in rebound when 1v2 then they're not the sharpest tool in the shed, if they know how the enemy will try to take advantage of your roam and stay as safe as possible then it's your advantage This is NOT A RECIPE, it's in a game-by-game basis, that means that it's not the same in EVERY GAME, you need to analyze the game before doing those things and the hardest part isn't even knowing that those concepts exist but applying them correctly into your game Not every rebound will be an opportunity to roam, not every support CAN roam Maybe that's why it seems so vague, he's just presenting ideas and how to execute them, but it's up to you to make it work in your games
I'm a jungler just wanting to learn more about the other lanes and how they should work, and man, this is a punch of knowledge right in my face, love you content
"Always look to trade your health with the enemy ADC" There are exceptions to every rule if the enemy Support is Soraka DO! NOT! DO! THIS! The number of times I see bot lanes lose either because they go after my ADC when I play Soraka or they try to focus the enemy ADC while Soraka just free heals all the damage is depressing. Hi, skill capped. I've been following your yt guides since my 7th grade, I'm now in college and I still benefit from your recent materials even if they are stuff you have touched on before or stuff I already have learned. What's amazing is that these skills are transferrable to League's mobile Wild Rift. (League Pc is too time consuming so . . . ) Whenever I am in a stump in the rank ladder I revisit your concepts, since most of the time in high elo it's all just polishing the basics to complete the 100%
how i wish there is skillcapped courses for wildrift, its basically the same game but i think having courses for wildrift players will esucate them and make them better players
Everything here is right, but that doesn't work in actual gameplay in low elo most of the time. Trying for the push advantage at level 1 as a support? Watch your ADC flame you for "touching the wave" and then troll you. Seen it happen way too often. This goes for trying to setup rebounds and good backs. Literally have had ADC's leave the game and claim 9x report me for even hitting a minion once. This was even with the support item that grants them the gold when I kill it. That is how bad low elo players are. I am serious when I say 7 out of 10 ADC players plat and below still do not know how the support item works in the game at all. If you do the recall trick for a bounce back and have to trust your ADC that decides to stay in the lane to not die... good luck with that. I get so many ADC's that won't let it bounce back and over extend 1v2 after I leave lane. They die, flame me, and then troll me the rest of the game. Roam timers to mid or other lanes in low elo don't always work out well either. Again, the solo laner gets mad that you are "stealing" their exps by being there when you show up even if you setup a fat kill for them on the gank. The problem with support is that the rest of the player base that doesn't play support think the role is just subpar and the odd one out. Especially in lower elos. Most mid laners for example would still look up guides on jungle and top to see how they play there. Just incase they get off-roled into those positions and to help them in mid understand the "stronger" positions from both teams. They won't do that for support game play. A lot of mid's in low elo get massively upset the moment they see their support coming to their lane.
Only attacking the jungle camp twice while leashing is a lot better than staying for long, but the best is to not leash at all. Wish you started hammering that into your videos, because way too many mid elo players leashing on auto-pilot.
my support : "my ADC s*ck !!!" Me : *punishing the triangle mistake but have been to greedy and try to take a second plate to have my item* him : *moving backward, never trading his own health, helping jungler too much, no warding, bad roaming.* Now, i can send him this video, thank skill capped!

Generally speaking, they shouldn't be behind the ADC. You can't trade and harass so far back. You do need to mindful of your positioning, especially with engage/pull supports and keep track when they use their engage abilities and punish them after with your range.

His Q is supposed to be like that. It has a ridiculously wide hit-box. This is countered by him being drug towards his victim, so it's a tradeoff compared to Blitz's hook. Easier to hit but not as game-changing since it pulls you towards the enemy and the hook doesn't go through terrain.
@@Darion350 Yeah I know, but having such a big hitbox compared to the size of the anchor model is infuriating. You can even see Lux getting hooked but Naut stops mid air and hits the wall. The hitbox is more like 'T' shaped than a straight line. And neither the model nor the cast line shows that.
@@briancitob It would be represented better if the anchor was sideways when thrown instead of vertical. It used to spin when thrown, which made more sense visually, but they changed it.

i disagree on a singular point that when you say the leash should be short, when i think as a high elo jungler that you shouldnt leash at all. season 14 very few champions actually need a leash and if the champion doesnt need a leash then you shouldnt leash them because it gives the enemy team knowledge on which direction your jungler is pathing. obviously a lot of low-mid elo players wont even acknowledge these things but unless you have a sylas jungle, you should just not leash at all. maybe you should if your jungler is delusional and is going to ragequit the game if he doesnt get a leash, but thats about the only situations
as far as i understand, you should always have your relic stacks at 2 or lower, prioritise canons and melee, last hit early to push and late to freeze. You don't need to kill anything more than that

@sophistacate7612 how does that make sense though if I get an A or S every game? Is it because I'm playing support and they don't give as much stock to that role?
what can i do when their jungler completely dominates our jungler (invading our jungle because he's at an advantage already), i dont want my jungler to completely fall out of the game and giving theirs another bigger advantage but nothing seems to work. Saw the title and wanted to add, the reason I suck at support is because I don't play support ✌
You're not playing Tank Twisted Fate - mover, stunning quaker & money maker!
When I roam, my ADC just dies no matter the lane's state. Then he will proceed to blame me for leaving him XD
I can't climb, period.
who else is here so they can play with their much better friends
I hope everyone watches this ❤
Guys, why do i suck at sup and how do i fix it?
many good tipps and hits are missing, but its okay, you could explain some things much easier ... think about that noobies dont understand anything ;) !
all of this works, IF your rando ADC has a clue.
trying to get to diamond and I already know all this q w q.... I think I can get it...
Really nice guide but I think my supports will take the last tip wromg and just commit suicide tying to 1v1 a solo laner
yeah tell them why! got sick of them
after watching this video, start the game and pray for an ADC with a brain (that's the hardest part)
thats great but how do i roam as yumi?
finally
Lmao of course your examples are used with the current broken adc’s vs bad ones
I’m going to link this to my support at the start of every match.
Instruction unclear. I'm Iron 4 now
In that case, you have finally reached the very bottom of the LoL's abbyss. Create a new account.
@@mattreggie4481 I spent too much money on that account already
pick reactive champ and stay bronze
reason #1 blind picking enchanter supp cuz its girly
why does he speak so fast
He's probably high on some adult candies.
I hate the fact that I get an S/S+ but we lose and I lose 35lp. But I win a game but get a A and only gain 19lp.
This is because your MMR for your rank isn't good. If your MMR is low, you gain less and lose more. The opposite is true if your MMR is high.
@sophistacate7612 how does that make sense though if I get an A or S every game? Is it because I'm playing support and they don't give as much stock to that role?
That voice is annoying
lol players dont know what is a decade so u changed to 10+ years hahaha
easy to fix, just unnistall
what can i do when their jungler completely dominates our jungler (invading our jungle because he's at an advantage already), i dont want my jungler to completely fall out of the game and giving theirs another bigger advantage but nothing seems to work. I tried to ward our jungle non-solo and try to catch their jungle invading but it didnt help .. are these just "losses" without any comeback then? T_T
