*I was stumped by the mystery wood thing too!* It's a cell phone holder. Don't ask me why manufacturers are including them lately. I actually liked the simplicity of this machine and the price is right!
Fun fact when I got a TT and i was confused too, my sister took one look and claimed it as hers. Which made me even more confused. Like one look and she knew 🤣🤣🤣 she uses as a selfie stand 🤳
I agree with everything you said about this laser engraver. The build process is pretty straightforward until you get the belt part, the laser itself is great. It cuts and engraves really nicely. I need to invest in a honeycomb for mine 👍

this is cool, what software are you using to do the computer text graphics when you were unboxing?
They are callouts plugins for Davinci Resolve
I think they included the wood phone holder as something to test the laser on.

this laser can't engrave transparent acrylic! I've tried every way and it can't!
You will need a CO2 laser if you want to engrave or cut transparent acrylic
That magnetic attached shield is such a great idea, and finally someone thought about the calibration adjustment procedure. The companies are definitely starting to notice of feedback for improvements over other manufacturers. Nice video John.

I ordered the 10w to replace the 5.5 on this lazer. But came with no directions on how to hook it up to the lazer came with on wire, could u please tell me how to connect the 10 and change out the 5..please..
you can help me choose which one I have to buy laser engraver that engraves and is more precise, I don't care about the cut but the engraving between which to choose ATOMSTACK S10 PRO 50W or Atomstack X7 Pro 50W or laser SCULPFUN S10 thanks
Sorry didn’t catch this video. Hey Oreo! Is this Bear’s buddy? The food engraving trend you started continues 😂😂. Looks like a nice laser. It really needs some pass through clearance. Otherwise I think it is pretty nice! However, the Comgrow Z1 is about a he same price right now. I would rather have the Z 1, it is bigger, more clearance, and has limit switches. Also how can this video have so little views? Your videos are so much better than others. Maybe it is lack of interest 🤔. I don’t know. Anyways, great video 👍. Say hi to Bear and Oreo for me!
I am just wondering if you have any ideas on what my problem could be... I have my TT-25 set up, LightBurn downloaded but my machine will only go side to side not front to back and I have spent days trying to figure it out and even emailed tech support... Im at a loss
I can not get mine to engrave anything it goes through the motions and does nothing and I can not find anything that actually gives me useful information I’ve managed to burn some little squares into it so far 😊
Do you have videos how to run the program and where to set the image so it cuts in the right spot? I am totally new

What did you have under your glass
Under the glass is a honeycomb steel bed. This helps support the material so the laser can go through the material.

Yeah it was difficult. However, a lot of the more difficult parts are already assembled. There are other CNC’s in this class that take a lot longer to assemble. Hopefully you find a CNC that fits your needs. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
