    First off, love you guys thanks for the podcasts and sharing your wisdom. Secondly, Ramsey’s “baby steps” has changed my husband and I’s (6 months married) discipline with finances and truly has given us so much financial peace. Can’t wait to see Rachel on with you guys!

    On the topic of drinking - I think it hits home on the importance of being surrounded by like minded people. If you surround yourself with people who don’t live the same way, the more likely you are to fall into it.

    I feel the same way about my ethnicity and dating since I was born and raised as an American but look Latina. My mom being half Spanish half Mexican and my father Mexican. I’ve also been told racial slurs yet lived in the exact same American culture as others. I also tend to only date American men and in the past I’ve felt like the fact that I look a certain way may push them or their family away. I’ve tried to forcing relationships but of course they never work because God didn’t intend that person for me. Especially with that Mormon boy I was dating haha. Full blonde boy who constantly wanted to speak Spanish to me but I felt uncomfortable since I will get marginalized if I speak Spanish in public.😂❤I’m learning to love myself for how God created me. Jeanine’s testimony and interracial perspective has helped me view myself and dating in a new perspective! Thank God for Jeanine ❤

    Hey, Jeanine and Kaleb! Thanks for this episode. What you guys said about Jesus’ cleaning the churches is also happening here in Brazil and it happened to my family. Our desire now is a biblical church, a church that preach Jesus and His truth! ❤️‍🩹

    I’m half Mexican and I was made fun of in high school for not looking “Mexican”. My father is white and my mother is Hispanic. I was always so curious in wanting to know more about the culture. My grandparents have passed now but when they were alive, I would ask them so many questions about how they grew up. 🤍 My grandmother was first gen American. 🤍 Thank you for sharing!

      I think that was an annulment not a divorce. I think that’s a very sensitive topic. We don’t know what she went through and we should respect that she hasn’t addressed it.

      I think she has talked about it before in her testimony video. Either way, her choice to share it or not depending on whether she feels comfortable/if or when God leads her to do so

    I listen to the podcast on apple podcasts, had to come to youtube to leave my comment in regard to church scandals. Anyone reading this can disagree with me but I think Kaleb made some very valid points... and the answer to that is Catholicism.
    We don't need "hype churches." You shouldn't need lights, hype music, charismatic leaders to find Jesus. Mass may not be fun and you may not get anything then, but you will find Jesus there.
    I say this having been raised Pentecoastal/Evangelical my whole life. I have seen the hype, I have seen the charisma. It's a show. Jesus is not a show. Yes, the Catholic church has its problems and its own scandals. But like Jeanine said, this movement has gone on for 4 YEARS. The Catholic church has been around for 2,000.

    Honestly, I love you guys. But as a person myself who is a member at Gateway church southlake and on the worship team, It really brings people down when we hear things “Gateway scandal”. We as a church have all been hurting, mad, but we have put our faith in the Lord and it has made us stronger. I will say nobody knows the full story and the whole truth behind the situation of Robert Morris. I would just say that if you really take a look at the emails between her and Robert, you would really have grace for the both of them. And something not people know was that he confessed his actions years ago to her parents and to the church and he stepped down from ministry after he confessed. He seeked counseling and freedom healing and he also sat and asked for forgiveness with the girl and the parents. The father of the girl told Robert to keep it private. So it wasn’t necessarily “just coming out” it’s been out just not with as much attention and fame on the topic as now. He has testified about his sin in the past in his sermons. And he is a great man. It’s just sad how people see a mistake someone makes and thinks they can’t be used by God or be a pastor, leader etc…because of their past. I would understand if pastor Robert didn’t ever confess, and he hid it, and he never seeked forgiveness etc…THEN yes it would be a different situation BUT he didn’t. And in case you didn’t know she was asking for money in emails. Once again I love you guys Jeanine and Kaleb and look up to y’all! No hate here ❤ but just pray for my church

      @@HappyandHealthyPodcast just curious do you classify your race as Latina or white because I heard you mention in another podcast you are 70% European wouldn’t that make you racially white ? For example a lot of African Americans are 30% white but are still considered black. 🤔

    • @BEZR2021
      @BEZR2021 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Latina isn’t a race. She might consider her race white but ethnicity could be Latina/Hispanic.
      Her dad is German and her mom is Guatemalan. Germany is in Europe and Guatemala has Spanish (Spain) which is European

    • @AM-sl9pw
      @AM-sl9pw 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BEZR2021 I was just wondering because here in the states you can choose Hispanic or white as your race but since Jeanine is more European I was wondering if she just classified as white obviously she’s technically mixed race but so are most people so I was just curious. To me Jeanine looks white I don’t think I would have ever known she was mixed if she never mentioned it tbh. Her and Caleb basically are the same color almost lol

      As a black woman, that portion of the podcast frustrated me for a lot of reasons but also made me empathize with her idk 😭. She has dark features that would be considered “exotic” to most. I have dark skin which is still looked down upon by many in the US and abroad.

    Being half Central American (Nicaraguan) and Mexican is weird. You would think cultures mix well within Latin America but I feel like there’s still so much division. It feels as if most Mexican men would rather stick to other full-Mexican women, and always saw me as odd because I didn’t grow up 100% culturally Mexican. And then on the other hand, I have a hard time finding any Central American men in general. I also have more indigenous features (nose, cheekbones, skin tone, etc) and it feels like Latino men stay away from that. Just my experience. I’ve tried dating outside of my culture all of my life because it’s been hard within my own culture buuut none of that ended up working either 🙃
