Great job! I made the very same one for my daughter and I absolutely love it, there is something cozy and happy about it, I fell in love w it from the time I saw it🤗💙
Thank you Stephanie!! 🥰 Thank you so much for the pattern & inspiration for this project. I love my blanket so much & really enjoyed the process - I'm so tempted to make another one in a different colorway! Xx
Great job! I’m making the blanket, too, and I decided to add an extra row and column of squares. I’ve slowed down on momentum, so I’m still making squares, but I’m determined to complete the blanket. This is my first time making granny squares, and the only other crochet project I’ve tried was a blanket that I didn’t finish. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thank you Wendy! 🥰 Good choice with adding more rows & columns! I'm cheering you on to finish your blanket one day - no hurry of course, enjoy the process ☺️
I’m in the process of making the cardigan version. Steam blocking the squares make them so much softer. You might want to lightly steam block your blanket (just hover your iron over and push the steam button) to make it soft. I was amazed at the difference!
Oo the cardigan version!! I'm tempted to make that one too, maybe in a different colourway 🤔 which colours are you using? Oh thanks for the steaming tip - I'm going to give it a go actually!
Oo exciting! 🤗Okay so essentially I chose the 'single crochet border alternative' option from the pattern but I actually didn't read it right😅. So when I approached the corner gaps, what I did was: SC, chain 2, skip 2, SC and repeated this for 3 rounds for all corners. BUT according to the pattern, you're supposed to: SC in back loop of 1st chain, chain 2, SC in back loop of 2nd chain. And repeat for 3 rounds. As expected, mine didn't turn out very sharp but it's okay, it doesn't really bother me haha. I'm probably not very helpful for advice, but a good example of what not to do! 😆Good luck with your blanket!
@@jackiethecreativelife The pattern on her blog says that blocking is optional. You might be able to stretch out your blanket quite a bit to make it larger if you block it.

Oh same!! I loved it at first sight too 😍 thank you x

After you complete the squares, do you need to block them? TYIA.
Hi! I didn't block them & the pattern didn't call for it either 😊
@@jackiethecreativelife Perfect! Thank you❤️
Good question! I was going to ask that as well. Thanks!

Oh oops I must have not read that part lol 😅 great idea!! Thank you for sharing, I will do that!
Why your face is blurred? Why you film yourself greeting people and blur face? Makes no sense.. you can say hi everyone, off camera lol
This is my channel's style ☺️
Exactly right 😂

Okay no worries!
