“I’m not dying….” Classic Sig.
haha!
Wild bill being willing to jump in after his deckhand is the sign of a true captain.
With no survival suit, so he was sacrificing himself
Then whose gonna drive the boat to try and pick them both up
Talk is cheap.
We are all together on this planet called earth watching this show over 10 years still brings tears 😢😢😢when someone on this show passes away 😢😢😢.
Moments Im glad Im just in my bedroom watching this instead of being in the middle of the Bering Sea!
I'd love to go for the ride. Id need a few years on smaller boats before I even thought about trying that.
A fisherman loves what he does. For the world. What's wrong with making a profit? The crew get paid well. And when you take your hot date out. She can have a great seafood platter. That we all take for granted. This is what these people do for us. Thanks to all of the fishermen of the sea.🙏
Man you outta love the camera man for sig they sound like they actully are friends
I wonder if it's the original crew from season 1? If you spend that much time together You'd likely become friends at that point
For the most part, the Discovery crew and boat crews are. Look at how many times the production crews helped during emergencies
@@TheChapelx there’s probably a lot of training and knowledge the film crew need in a hostile environment like that. It’s not practical to change staff often in this case
Without question one of the very best TV Documentaries ever showing real people tough hard working people and the remarkably harsh climate and conditions that they live and work in. I love the characters all interesting in their own unique way my own personal favourites are Captain 'Wild Bill' Sig Hansen and the young guy with the dark hair and beard BUT I like and appreciate them all. ❤️ 🇺🇲🙏
It was a great show but you could hardly call it a documentary.. maybe a dramatized reality of what it’s like! The only show more staged than this is gold rush lol
@@mitchvankesteren6771 yeah great show but far from a documentary. Anytime a producer and editor are influencing the output, doc goes out the window
‘Get him out of the water now’ is some high level thinking.
It’s panic. My father asked what’s the number to 911 when I was involved in serious accident
Man I forgot about deadliest catch til stumbling onto this awesome video..
Tis it dizz
Wizz it shizz
Thanks man .
Sig always acts like he's the one that's fixing to get sprayed by the freezing cold water when a wave comes up and hits the boat.
A big enough impact will easily smash those windows
Loved that show.
The paramedic in me screamed MI when I saw this scene 3:38. He looks sick like actually sick.
Great job Elliot!
That’s one job have no shame in saying I couldn’t do. I admire them but I’m not down with 40 foot seas. I’ve been in minimal rough seas while enlisted in the Navy and I know they are in wayyyyy worse conditions.
I'm curious about the new depletion of crab, is it possible that they have changed their patterns, could they be hiding in the shallows or underwater cave systems, could someone use an ROV to attempt to locate them, I'm thinking they may be much smarter than we realized.
It's prob the result of some human meddling pollution or climate.
@@johntchbbased on what?
@@Stevie8654 yeah humans have done absolutely nothing to upset nature's balance.
It’s china and it’s a shame it’s not common knowledge. For some reason people are scared to say it
They migrate. Quite possibly the crab are over the Russian line.
Still praying for you Elliot
lol 🤡
Brothers
It's a lot like the Charlie Daniels' song "If you break your neck in some damned fool wreck they forget about you soon."
Stroker Ace
Is sig still alive?
yes he is
yep very alive
Alive and doing commercial fishing in Norway
Alive and kicking
He died recently.
People say that crab legs are expensive. Well just watch 1 episode and they'll see why!
pædo boat haha
Elliot is just the worst. Also he dresses like a 12 year old in 2008.
Where are the women? We need 50% representation on the high seas! Oh wait you mean they only want the nice jobs? Imagine my shock.
Sigs daughter now works for sig, there’s a newer girl captain named Sofia (her nickname is Bob), and sometimes we see Jakes neice Shyann
All in the name of greed!
orrrrr to make a living and feed their families. These guys gotta make money too!
What are you a vegan
Not even close.
Fkn fake 100%
You couldn't cut it
💯
Hay sig we all lost your mother. Even in Texas we love you and your family.
I remember one episode where one of the boats got hit on the side by a rogue wave and tipped the boat on its side and all the cameras went dark. So freaky.
