You explained very well . I am a bit confused about finding the area of parallel triangles .I Would appreciate if you make few videos on areas of triangles . Thanks a lot
I'm a semi-retired carpenter. I was a highschool dropout. I did learn the pythagorean theorem about half way through my career. For the last 2 years I have been on youtube to learn all the trig I missed. Well, one day I was working on sales tax, I made a triangle & figured sale tax for x value compared to overall tax. This knowledge goes far beyond right triangles, but you must use them to find answers.
Not to worry, I appreciate you supporting the channel. I am happy to hear that you are learning the trig that you missed. My grandpa is a carpenter, he did not have formal schooling, but he built the home he currently lives in when he was 79. I am a firm believer that carpenters have next level geometry skills, building is their form of expression.
omg thank you dude. I was thinking about one math problem and couldn't solve it and I looked at your video and remembered what to do and solved it. thanks
Glad this old video is still going strong! I updated this video somewhat recently: th-cam.com/video/7Y6tg-X8daM/w-d-xo.html I appreciate the support and best wishes with geometry!
Isn’t it strange that I am Russian (Ukrainian) and I understood this topic better from your video than I understood it from Russian videos? English is not my native language.
My teacher took 40 minutes to explain what you did in 4 minutes. THANK YOU SO MUCH ^.^
I am glad the video helped! Separating the triangles is definitely the way to go.
same but i wasn’t paying attention so here i am
Relate but still i didn't get what she said he helped me.. Thanks dud
I just doze off in class then watch youtube videos of it.
OMG! THIS IS REALLY HELPFUL! I FINALLY UNDERSTAND OUR MATH LESSON. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :)
I have a test tomorrow I didn’t pay attention for.. 😂😂 shittt
YES, HOW
Wow, My teacher jumped all over teaching this and left me absolutely confused. This video was sent from heaven!
Glad it was helpful!
Whew😁. He makes this so much easier. Thank you so much!
Happy to help!

Zoom teachers never say "look it up" but it's the best thing to do
Glad this helped! Good luck in geometry!
Thank you so much man, been struggling with this for so long
very helpful to clarify this
Thank you! This helped me understand taking apart triangles and putting them in cross multiplying form. Have an amazing day!
I am glad it helped! Thanks for watching and good luck with your class.

My bad, I thought this video was about ratios.

Thanks a lot. I can finally pass my class with pride
Struggling with home schooling during the current situation. I found your video extremely helpful! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
You need to teach my teacher how to teach this THANK YOUUUU😝😁

omg thank you dude. I was thinking about one math problem and couldn't solve it and I looked at your video and remembered what to do and solved it. thanks
I am glad the video helped you figure it out.. Good luck your math class!
vinteachesmath thank you
you are so good at teaching
it solved my problem
thanks
I am a huge fan of drawing the triangles separately. I think it makes the questions much easier. Thanks for watching!
You SAVED me, thank you so much for making this
I am happy to help! Good luck with your class.
You really rock...tomorrow is my maths exam..and this helped me a lot and thank you very much sir...please visit India once...
I am glad this helped and I hope your exam goes well! I would to visit India one day. I love that my videos are reaching people all around the world!
Good explanation ! Thank you ! 🙏

just saved me from failing my test fr thanks homie vin
thanks!! i finally get it!!!
I am glad that the video helped! Drawing the triangles separately makes the concept clearer.
you wouldnt believe it but I went here to answer my statics assignment lol
Thank you. This really helped!!
how would I do this if Im only given the base, like in his example if I was only given the AC.?
Thank you teacher
You are welcome! Best wishes with the rest of your school year!
SO HELPFUL THANK U SO MUCH
Thank you very much
Happy to help! Best of luck with geometry.
Brilliant. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much !!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
You're welcome!
Thank you :) I'm having to solve for conics, and this helped me a lot.
Omg thank you so much god bless
You're welcome!
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU
Welcome!
I can't stop focusing on the fact that this guy looks like the "STOP DRINKING MILK ANTHONY" guy.
I appreciate the reference! Best wishes with your geometry class.
Helped me... I'm taking a retake in 1wk and this helps
Good luck on your retake! Thanks for watching.
thank you
At 3:46 how do you know to divide both sides by 5?
Finally!
Thank you so much, I have a better concept about smiliar triangles
I am glad the video helped. Similar triangles is a huge topic in mathematics.
Thanks sir
Thanks
Compared to my teacher, very good. I go to the best school in the SE of England.
got a test in 25 mins and haven't been paying attention in class lol
Hope your test went well!
@@vinteachesmath i didn’t have the test it’s happening tomorrow
Literal Godsend.
I am glad this video helped! Thanks for watching and good luck with your class.
You’re a beast
Mine solves it way different you see after you cross multiply you divide by 2 is what’s written and is what was given to me so I’m confused right now
I love you
Thx
Thanks for explaining but I would've appreciated if you did more difficult problems.
I will keep an eye out for tougher Geometry problems. I am more than happy to take requests of particular problems as well.
What if it said like AD:DB = 3:2? I have a problem like that and it's very much confusing me.
Label AD as 3x and DB as 2x then go from there... I hope that helps!
wow you look good
can you plz tell me to which grade does this lesson belong to??
Either 8th Grade or in High School, depending on when you take Algebra 1
This is not algebra 1, this is geometry. So, 9th grade?
Grade 8
What if the lines were not parallel?
Then we cannot make any claims of sides being cut proportionally. We have to use trigonometry.
Intercept theorem

I’m telling y’all rn you don’t need to do all of this
Thank you
I am happy to help. Thanks for watching!
