I never noticed that this isn't just a musical but also a ballet.
When the show first opened in 1981, it was considered to be one of the most challenging shows to dance in musical theatre.
In fact, one of the goals of the show was to challenge the then held industry wide belief that West End Choreography was inferior to Broadway.

Yeah! Although a lot of productions sometimes change who sings what line in Jellicle Songs. It's confusing and it always makes me do a double take xD
