I can't believe she makes sense of all the things i learnt long and long hours within 5 minutes and actually clears all my worries. You are the best teacher i have seen on youtube!!! I can't hug you from here but sent a big big thank you hug❤❤
I really appreciate all the free education on the use of forms, YN is giving us up and coming nail tec thanks a lot Karen I have learned so much already 👏🏿🙏🏿💥
Thank you for this! I am licensed but also mostly self-taught. The salon I apprenticed in did not offer extensions aside from using tips with dip powder so I was never showed how to use forms. This was VERY helpful and informative, especially for those "what if" situations. Would love to see a video, if possible, using the form on a toenail. I have one client in particular whose big toe nail has detached pretty close to the base and I tried using a form with a semi-hard gel to sculpt but since it was so far down I really struggled.
Hello! Thank you for sharing such videos with us :) Just one request if possible can you make a guide how to apply correctly upper form? I can find any of yours films if there is something can u pls indicate it to me ? Thank you so much !

Hi, I have a thight c curve and extended hyponychium. Is that the same as the hyponychium straight across? Because I didn't really understand that.. so then I would just need to add that little piece in the middle? Do I have to cut my nails short to add forms? Because I can almost never get my forms on how they should but I hate cutting my real nails because most of them are already long.
If you are sculpting extensions, we do recommend clipping the natural nail short so it doesn't interfere with the form application. To apply forms on your nail shape, we would start by customizing the form for a tight c-curve (cutting the tab straight across) and then cut the v-shape into the opening. This way, it will fit your c-curve and around the hyponychium.
There wouldn’t be any difference between colored acrylic and clear. However, we do recommend only using the colored acrylic for design work and then cap in clear. This will seal you design, but clear does tend to set faster than the colored powders.
It definitely seems to take a lot more talent to do sculptured nails then just slapping on a tip and putting an overlay. Thanks for showing this I'd rather do it correctly
We recommend cutting back the natural nail as much as you can and then working on them like you would a bitten nail. Depending on how fast their nails grow you may need to cut the extension and start fresh again when their nail starts growing down again.

Happy to help! We hope you enjoyed this video on nail forms.
Love this instructional video. So helpful! Can you explain why the longer form has the little ear shapes in the center please?
It's just a different shape that can help with nails that have more of a curved free edge/hyponychium or an extended hyponychium.
Can YN nail forms be the same way as any other nail forms in the nail industry?
In what way do you mean exactly?

Are all nail forms the same way like the way you do in the videos?
We can only speak on our products which are shown in the video. We can't say how other brands forms work. They could be similar or a little different.
I heard that color acrylic is stronger than clear. Is this true?
