I have NEVER done a nail in my life (im 58 years old), i watched your tutorials over and over. Finally, tried to do my own and they came out fantastic!! Now, everyone in the family asks me to do their nails..Im now practicing the technics that you've shown us! I have "ombre" almost down pat. Thank you!!! You are a fantastic teacher!!

I want a nail tech who knows how to use a nail form so badly but no salon uses them in my area. When I go to the salon, no tech even knows what I'm talking about when I ask if they use nail forms.

Alexis Brokenberry I'd be very weary of those nail techs who dont even know what a form is. Even if they dont usually use forms they should at least know what they are. I dont know what cosmetology school wouldnt teach them to use both. My guess is theyre probably not licensed

Mykayla BeMent no doubt as women in the working women I have done nails for close friends and family and I have been going to lots of nail shops for well over 25 years and from me know what a true nail artist nails should look like she is definately on point every time I have watched her that doesnt mean I would want all the colors,shapes,sizes but as far as her work itself 100% fabulous so don't act smug hows about pushing her up instead of trying to tear her down but u go on and be ugly I'm sure she's not losing any sleep over you and your non class having ass!!! (BOOM WITCH) see what happened u r trying to take the lady out of me so I have to watch more of her amazing ideas and art work peace is a good thing and so I humbling yourself try it some time
Me too! I would LOVE for her to do my nails, because she talks and she is also English so you can actually communicate with her. Now I understand there are other nail techs that can speak English, but none of them like to talk or ask questions. It always ends up very awkward. I would love if she did my nails.

I have to say that i have been watching Suzie for almost a year now consistently, and i've gotten SO used to how she explains things and what to look for in my nail tech, that i've honestly STOPPED going to the nail salon because i can't find anyone that fits the standards and have slowly become more and more confident in doing my own nails that now i can do a full set of acrylic on myself WITH nail forms and they come out looking amazing. Thank you SO much Ms. Suzie, for taking the time to share your 30 years of professionalism and expertise with the world. You have changed my life and countless others i'm sure by giving advice that is unattainable anywhere else, and from the bottom of my heart (and my wallets!) i appreciate so much that i no longer have to go to the nail salon for a fill or a full set when i want to have long, beautiful nails!

You might just be having bad luck in getting nail techs who are really new and haven't perfected it, or one that may just not be that good at it yet. Or you may not be communicating very well to them about what you are expecting. Next time you go explain to the nail tech what has been happening to you and that you don't like it. Then it gives them an idea about what you are really looking for. Believe it or not, there's a lot of people out there who like nails that don't look natural and then there are people who want them to look totally natural. Really try to communicate what you want and what you are looking for to them.

You need to tell them your dislikes so they can fix it. Used to happen to me but now I make sure everything is how I like it.

My fingers are smaller and I always get the huge nail tips from the technicians even when it’s the smallest size! Now I know to ask if they do nail forms instead because it would be a better shape for my nails! I love your videos so much! Thank you for educating us!

When i use tips with a full well I usually cut a "v" to shorten up the well and it has worked pretty well for me! Just a tip for anyone who has full well tips laying around 😋

wow your natural nails look sooo good 😩. i stopped getting acrylics because it would completely destroy my nails. they would be super weak and incredibly ripped up. the nail salon i went to used to just pry the acrylics off. it hurt so bad! i wish i had such talented people like you in my area.

I love watching your videos. I am a self taught nail artist. I decided to start doing my own nails becuase the salons in my area aren't licensed and They are about quantity rather than quality. They have no issues hurting you and arent really concerned with your wants/needs. I started watching your videos and now I'm doing so much better with my acrylics. I just purchased everything i need to start doing forms. Im very excited to try this out. I owe everything to you Mrs Suzy! You're the best!

Sadly I did pay. I have not been back since though and bought my own acrylic which was the same price I payed them to do them and I get more applications so I just do them myself, haha.

As i know by her video , she has use acrylic and gel Product brand called Ugly Duckling and Enailcouture. The rest brand she showed us how to use it like Poligel and etc.
I tried the Enailcouture. The monorer smell like sweet cotton, it nice. But i think its so fast dry when we apply on nail with the powder. Have quick hand job to do the acrylic naild

Tallinyc I know you probably don't want me but I used to bite my nails so when they grew out they were really weak and bendy and honestly nail hardener has saved them even when it's not actually on them anymore they are quite strong now, I hope I could help
Nail oil, more specifically Jojoba
Whilst I grow out my nails, I wear a gel nail polish because it makes them so much stronger. Watch out after showering, mine tend you go soft after showering. And if you've got a nail crack, use tea bags, cut them up into the right size and apply them with nail glue, then file it down a bit, and apply gel over it, you'll barely see the bit of film. As for caring for your nails, I'd suggest cuticle oil. Hope this'll help.

I do like using tips. I can never get the forms right. also with nail forms I tend to end up with my nail coming out to thick. Takes forever to file thinner. Love your videos. Nail tips are easy. I agree that using forms requires more skill but can be more suited to the individual needs of a client. I'm a retired nail tech and back in the day (30 years ago) we didn't have nail tips or even good acrylic available. Luckily how times have changed! It's great that I can still keep up with new techniques in watching your videos. Thank you!👍💅🏻

haha no, I go to a school specialised in training animalcarers for zoos and stuff, we've got animals from snakes to rabbits, from ara's to sheep, so I can't have acrylics so I won't hurt them :p

Ya its much easier to do - in your case they are just using too much glue- if they are good at it - tips can be beauty

Umm is it weird I'm 11 and I want to be a nail artist I already know most/some of the nail art community vocabulary and I correctly have 123 bottles of nail polish think I have a chance of being a nail artist
