In The Bridget Jones Baby there was a scene that the doctor said giving birth is like a fav pub burning down and the doctor was Emma Thompson! Then i remembered this moment and everything just lightened
seriously, their talk or chat shows are so much more loose and less tamed. I know my fellow American citizens won't like me sayin' that, but the English are more creative and free than American talk shows ironically haha. They call 'em right in Britain, chat shows, perfect description
To have Graham laughing so uncontrollably like that is a mark of how funny and impeccable RW's comic timing is. Jimmy, the actual paid comedian on the sofa, couldn't compete with that and even Emma Thompson's deadpan delivery of 'live with the ruins' was just a beautiful moment.
I love how genuinely over the moon Graham Norton is when stuff like this happens! He immediately gets the value of all the levels and implications of a moment and rides that wave enjoying the outrageously magnificent interaction to oblivion and back! Can't get rid of my hyperbole to describe how much I love his ability to both host ~and to get lost in~ the moment, to then reign back in that run-away horse... Amazing.
I agree, I think Graham is probably the best Chat Show Host around today, anywhere in the world. I found people like Parkinson pretty boring, who'd ask them preprepared questions for them to say their rehearsed spiel and I find the American Hosts as just desperate for attention and fake, but Graham really brings stars out of their practiced comfort zone and helps them relax and open up. He's entertaining, but he's also engaging and never tries to outshine the guest.
how is it 8 years on?... Robbie is apologetically unapologetic. Emma is dialed in.. Graham is lovely falling apart for all the right reasons. Jimmy is allowing it all to undress in front of us. LOVE this show... we in the States don't understand how good this is....
So amazing that Emma added Robbie's saying to Bridget Jones's Baby! Went to see the movie yesterday and I almost couldn't believe it when she said it :-)
I actually like that Jimmy Carr wasn’t trying to make too many quips while Robbie was talking though, I’m sure there were plenty of gags in his head but he let Robbie carry on as he should
great hearing his approach with his songwriting - i have to say if it wasn't for seeing rock dj when i was 6 years old, music wouldn't be the driving factor that it is for me today, so thanks Robbie :)
The moment I saw that scene in Bridget Jones’ Baby I knew Emma was referencing to this beautiful moment. I wonder if Robbie was aware that she was going to put it in there before the movie came out. He must have found it hilarious!
This the funniest moment no this show ever ... along with when Graham asked Josh Widdicombe what is his fear and Mark Rufallo anwers "12 year old girls'
@@eleanortheakston9289 but you ruin the whole point. Video could be titled "Robbie Williams was there when her daughter was born" and it can catch attention without spoiling the whole video.
Ha ha. Emma Thompson got the joke from here with 'fav pub burning down' and used it in 'Bridget Jones's baby' movie, the scene before Bridget gives birth in the hospital and the doctor asked the two potential fathers to step outside. Funny 😅😂😂
Graham is just the best .. & Robbie I mean what a legend he is. What a guy, smart as a whip, quick witted & just so relatable. & some epic tunes don’t forget .. often watch some of his interviews back he’s just some laugh. Proper lad lol & yeah Graham’s shows my favourite by a mile.
Oh my gosh, people seriously don't understand the light commodity of HUMOR. It's a light-hearted joke that has nothing to do with sexism, it's a funny metaphor. And, yeah. I am a feminist, and I just said that. A chat show is ENTERTAINMENT. He's kidding, jeez.
@@Mrkti she was probably talking to herself. I bet she had an instant defensive reaction to it thinking it was sexist and then the more rational side of her brain attacked the other side Like a feminist smeagol 😂😂
This joke has seriously made the rounds and it's cool to have seen the origin of it before that. I've seen James Corden refer to it on his show as a joke his "Uncle Robert" told him and like someone else said Emma put it in Bridget Jones.
"Can you sing?" "NO, no I can't, not at all." "Never stopped me." This is why people love Robbie Williams.
I cried with tears on that :))
i think not wanka
Olly, Mr. Olly Murs Ladies and Gentlemen
Because he's totally Mad! Lol😂
I love him too and I rot a song for him colld I saw you
Graham's uncontrollable laughter is amazing
It’s literally the most annoying laugh I have ever heard

Are you suggesting that it is more creative and free in America generally?
on behalf of my country thankyou
Irish people drinking
yes, indeed :)
Emma shows off her comedic timing perfectly! (Robbie is gold though)

Best thing ever.....Emma Thompson took that line and put it Bridget Jones' baby. Fabulous!!!
"ha ha ha ha ha ha HAAA"
- Jimmy Carr
hate his fake laugh
I laughed harder than I should've..
hihihihihi
@@Mrkti That's actually how he laughs, there are generally people out there with odd laughs. I call this one the Jimmy Carr alarm.
This is giving me The Big Fat Quiz of Everything flashbacks.

Emma pinched this off Robbie and put it in the new Bridget jones film! Love it
Indeed! Just watched the film and it instantly came to my mind!
I didn't even notice haha
I heard it in the movie, is it a Robbie original? It's a good one.
I saw that and instantly thought of this!
It was on Chris moylrs breakfast show years ago & said by James Corden I think lol

Love Emma! I love how she's 'robbed' Robbie's saying and put it in the new Bridget Jones's Baby movie according to the Empire review 😂
just watched BJB and I was thinking I have heard that somewhere......
Came back to this because of that! Knew she pinched it off Robbie! Funny anywho, got a laugh in the cinema
I knew I heard that somewhere! Thanks! I paused the video just to remember where
She didn't fully 'robbed' him cause in the movie at least she said 'someone told me..'
Oh Emma! That witty lady who just carried the joke along...."have you rebuilt her?" to "must live with the ruins for now!"....
Robbie is comedy gold! Hilarious, poor Ayda lol
It was actually Robbie's pretend sad face and awkward silence, after the pub reference which made it funny. Plus Emma Thompson is a funny lady too x
One of my favorite moments EVER on this show 😂
Graham norton screams with laughter!

Graham's laughter is so awesome
I love Graham's cackle.

I don't think I've heard Graham laugh so loud.
Graham Norton is the best chat show host there is ngl
This is one of the funniest lines ever spoken on national television
"you have a beautiful foo" 😂😂😂😂
Grahams laugh!! lmao
Graham losing it was just as hilarious as the joke itself
He's so honest and hilarious. Doesn't shy away from anything and totally outshone Jimmy Carr for comedy.
Yeah it's honestly really impressive to get the last laugh during an impromptu bit with a standup comedian.
I actually like that Jimmy Carr wasn’t trying to make too many quips while Robbie was talking though, I’m sure there were plenty of gags in his head but he let Robbie carry on as he should
That's pure comedic truth!!
Emma Thompson is so delightful
Emma Thompsons father brightened my childhood with the Magic Roundabout! Loved Dougal

Best emotion ever.
his sense of humour is wild!!!
Omg Graham's laugh🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this guy. My favorite song of his is "Let love be your energy" :)
Omg I love that song too
Robbie is so funny, I think he should make a comedy show. It would be awesome! :)
2:53... oh god, the face of PTSD... he's still horrified, isn't he! Scarred for life!

he stole that punch line from russel peters

Way to ruin the punchline in the title...
the joke is stolen anyways.
Its actually not, Robbie was the first to say that. Emma actually took it and put it in Bridget Jones' Baby.
And FYI, Emma Thompson used that very comparison about the pub in a movie later ! Also, Robbie Williams is just so adorable !
Actually this is a joke Russell Peters told in his 2013 special "Notorious"
Jimmy Carr himself now does it in his stand-up. He did it tonight and I was surprised.
Robbie should try an acting career
Or a stand-up comedy career. He really is funny.
Robbie williams je nejlepší
The best laugh i ever heard from Graham
A bit of his Stokie comes out 😂 I keep expecting broad Stokie every now and then because of my other half being from Stoke 😂
