Great video! One thing I think you weren’t aware of. Under the two wall mounted nightstands beside the bed are standard 110 three pronged plugins. At least it was in the cabin we were in on the Mardi Gras. That can be used for his CPAP device. Of course you have the USB’s as well. I hope this helps!
Shower door instead of shower curtain is the absolute best improvement ❤
Do you know if the main door is metal?? It looks wood, but I’m purchasing Birthday magnets to put on the outside door.
Also, do you remember if there was a plug near the door/bathroom area? I was hoping to put a nightlight.

The cabin doors and walls are metal. So yes, you can put up decorations. As far as the plug, the closest one would be by the desk area. Hope this helps!
I booked this room for a 7 day in September. Quick question did they fulfill your request for the loungers on the balcony? I was thinking of doing the same. That’s a great idea
Hello! Honestly, we never asked. I would recommend that you give Carnival a call ahead of time and see if that’s something they can accommodate. Enjoy!
Just got off this ship was on it for three weeks in the same room the room was very nice but the food on this ship is shit coffee no good you only get bacon twice a week at the buffet the ship is too big yes I have been on the carnival Mardi but I was on it when Covid was going on so less people they need more people to work on the ship the man that was cleaning our room told us he had to clean 32 rooms a day .on the small ships he only cleaned 12 to 14 rooms in a day the workers work to hard for the money we gave him a good tip.
We just got off the Breakaway and our room steward’s contract is from December to August with zero days off. He had about the same amount of rooms. It’s terrible! I agree, we don’t care for the food on Carnival.
The smaller carnival ships have not too bad of food but the big ships the food is shit.
Will they bring you a lounge chair for extended balcony rooms? I saw one video with lounge chair and 2 regular chairs and the table.

We just got off five year old Horizon. Door frame already rusted out. I would have thought they would be doing them out of aluminum by now. We won't have to worry about that as we are sailing on Jubilee's second sailing this December. USB by the bed is way overdue. Nice touch.

I tried to book this room today - and found out they now made it an accessible room - can still book it, but a chance I could get bumped and I’m going with a group… don’t want to get separated.
How can they bump you if you pay for a guaranteed cabin? I hope you get to keep it because the balcony is so nice!!

I love that the sofa and desk are moved over by the balcony doors. And, I love that the door is a sliding door now. Carnival listened to us. We have cruised almost 30 times and we hated the door opening and slamming. We are booking on this cruise for Jan 28th 2024. Cannot wait. Great tour of the cabin. Thank you.

Cool balcony room tour / Seen other balcony room tours on TH-cam : balcony room next to you can be setup the opposite way ( like the couch & bed are swap )
I think I like the bed closer to the slider so you have room to move when you enter your cabin. What do you prefer?

Did you find there was a lack of privacy due to the decks below being out farther than you? I’ve on,y ever had balconies overlooking the water and can’t quite wrap my head around this configuration.
No, not at all. Exactly the opposite! We had no one looking over onto our balcony. Not was our absolute favorite cabin we have ever had!
You are on the tenth floor that is why you have a larger balcony
@@danastewart8709 that’s not actually accurate. We have a larger balcony because we were on the corner.

My fiancé and I live in the Syracuse area and are going on the carnival celebration for our honeymoon in July! He’s never been on a cruise before and doesn’t like crowds so now I’m starting to worry 😅 We booked a Havana balcony cabin but not sure if we should switch to a different room.
Definitely stay in Havana! The ship holds a ton of guests but it’s so big, there’s plenty of space for everyone! Just get to shows an hour early.

Thanks!!! I may be on the Jubilee (12/30/2023) before Celebration but seeing how different, or how much the same the XL ships are, is great. So far based on this and o/vlogs I've seen, Celebration is an improvement over the MG. SO so so glad they moved that toilet paper, that just made no sense on Mardi Gras to have it way behind you! We are writing down the cabins with big balconies, we had a huge one on Celebrity Equinox, it has to do like Bob explained with situation of the cabin. Now that we know which one they are we ask our travel agent to book us those. Thank you for your video!
