Oh nm, figured it out (GDAE if anyone else is wondering). I guess if you use that tuning you call it an octave mandolin and if you use GDAD like I do you call it an Irish bouzouki. I'm still pretty much a beginner but now I want to mess around with standard mandolin tuning as well as Irish bouzouki tuning. Thanks for the inspiration! Your arrangement is so beautiful!

Beautiful all around the bases ! My singer wife and I had some difficulty making out the lyrics and thought that the room is too wet and the mic too far from the sound source. Heck, not that we're experts but you sure got the lighting, playing, pitch and over-all ambience spot on !
yea, you are singing it well but it is harder with an instrument. I am not sure that that instrument is doing you justice. I don't think it has the treble clarity of a guitar sound which blends with the song well I think. Pentangles musical backing is much better.. well it would be with 4 musicians I suppose.
The woman has a good voice, but the chords are set like a beginner. She hasnt realized the subtlity of the chords in the pentangle version and plays a simplified chord scheme which makes the song loosing much of the effect. This shows me her musicality is not superior. Soft voice but coarse perception skill.
