it's being generated from sheer fandom in the back of his mind, since the rest is too busy simutaneously fangasming and nerd rampaging at the same time, he'd sing along but his voice is needed for increased super robot epicness

I give this BGM to any Unit I place the "Steel Soul" Part on.
I typically don't use parts, I think that was just a joke from long ago. Robot Wars is a slightly broken game; if you want to win, just put all the pilot points into Evasion/Dodge. If the enemy's Accuracy reads 0%, you're invincible.
I've taken out Granzon whenever the game let me, despite the constant crew members screaming "we gotta get out of here!"
Granzon, the menacing mecha that is never a true boss (in the first GBA's game; it never asked you to destroy it, not even as a mastery), couldn't land a hit on me.
If you can't dream to dodge [a.k.a. Giganscudo or Grungust Models], put all the pilot points into Defense. The Extra Boss couldn't deal enough damage (thank you healing panels) and Grungusts are already nasty Offensive models.
Go figure, I was doing it the right way, too. Ex-Hard doesn't permit upgrades to Weapons

The Shadow Mirror universe in OG was one where an evil organization (SM,) was defeated and fled with three comparably puny factions engaged in a fight over one planet. 40k consists primarily of species engaged in an unending genocidal war to exterminate all other sentient species for the sake of their evil gods, or for shits and giggles. The scale of conflict isn't even comparable. And the Zovolg Alliance wants to "civilize" the "barbaric" Earthlings, not exterminate them.

@@GundamSneed Banpresto is a toy company after all.
I mean, Banpresto does sell toys. In fact a good reason why Mech anime got so popular in japan was because they also marketed toy robots to small children who buy the action figures and big children who build the Gunplas.
And most robots in OGs have one or several toys.
