On the second fight, the gunman is not an Hell's rider, so you don't have to remove a dice on the next round.

28:40 - you still had the Pistol item you bought that gave a one-time use gun. You could discard it to take out the shooter in the adjacent room to avoid taking any damage.
29:50 - you would take damage from the guy in the room with you AND the shooter left in the other adjacent room, so that's a worse scenario than the previous decisions you made. :)

    Great runthrough!
One thing you did wrong at 23:45: You used the double-knife dice to take out the minion, but didn't discard that die, then used it again when in the boss area to take out the other minion.

Excellent overview for solo mode... Thank you for the vid!

The character art is way more evocative than what is typically seen in board games. Very cool.

It is, though I wish that art direction extended to the card art, which seemed lackluster to me.

On the first fight, you should have shoot the grunt before the gunman and take a damage from the gunman.

Very interesting! Thanks for showing this one off, it looks like a pretty fun game that doesn't take too long to play. I thought you did a good job going over the rules and had a lot of interesting things to say about your thoughts on how the game plays.
Not so sure about your ending sequence there. Maybe you were strapped for time and needed to do it in that fashion, but it was a little rough to listen to with you sounding out of breath the entire time and including some odd pauses where you're likely dealing with stuff on your walk.

VERY surprised that you got this Kill Bill type game. Mine has been sitting unopened with the 100's of games on my queue to play.

I definitely buy at a higher rate than they get played too. As for big solitaire games, I lost count of those waiting to be played. Most recent acquisitions, Big Trouble In Little China and Fallen Land + Expansion, have been literally sitting on my table for weeks mocking my repeated neglect.

I liked this one a lot tho outside my usual fare I agree. I love dice manipulation mechanics.
I’ve been interested in Fallen Lands too after someone (you, perhaps?) mentioned it but it looks perhaps too fiddly for my probable annoyance level. :)

Don't think I've mentioned Fallen Lands before. I was also on the fence about it for awhile. After beginning a read of the manual, I've become less concerned as I get the impression it's well written & organized. Still lots of bits to manage, I'm sure, but I'm not as intimidated as before.
As for Vengeance, I appreciate another peak at it. It's another that I've been on the fence about.

When I saw the thumbnail for this game on your channel I almost fell off my seat. I myself love the game, but I never thought in a million years youd touch this game, although I can see how it would appeal to you as a solo gamer. Have you thought about Runebound 3rd edition with expansion for some good times? I'd love to see an actual playthrough of Vengeance on your channel. Same for a game like say Folklore.

BLD A TRUE GAMER Runebound 2nd edition is one of my old go to, favorite games. I’ve never considered getting the 3rd edition so you won’t see that here. Some kind of vid on the 2nd edition is possible though it wouldn’t be a play through.
I’m playing Folklore right now and there will be a video on it. Most likely that vid won’t have gameplay but will be a discussion of how it does/does not succeed in being an “RPG in a box.”
As to Vengeance: don’t mistake the soft voice and crochet hook for a tea and crumpets player. I LOVE the idea of vengeance and thought this game executed it quite well. Pun intended.

Have you considered Aventuria the Casard Game. Even if you dotn owe it, have you see gameplay? I know you like Pathfinder, so I thouhgt you mught like that system as well.
