Great video. I really like how you show everything of the hunt. Prepping for the hunt, starting the hunt, spot and stalk, setting up for shot, making your land marks afterwards. Approaching the kill and cleaning it, the pack outs. Hunting there’s a lot to it but can be very rewarding. Mahalo’s 🤙
Local breakfast in Hawaii made me gain 10lbs over a 3 week period, last time I went for work... it's the bomb! Its like the goats are laughing at you.. surprised to hear you say there was no realized difference in the taste of goat meat. Normally, easily different than beef, but really proves the handling after the kill is the difference. Great video, again, thanks for taking me along!
Great video, glad y'all came out with something. Cool to see you branch out to beyond the contiguous states. So uh, if you're ever down to help out an older but newer hunter in WA for deer season, hit me up. I've got that multiseason. 😉
Which island? Oahu, Kaua'i, Molokai, Lana'i, Maui or Hawai'i? Though I do terribly in heat even not moving, especially humid heat, I'd adore experiencing the fishing and hunting the islands! There's so much overabundance of invasive species for hunting that it's the perfect combo! I know I LOVE lamb, especially as the arab world makes it, so I know I'd love goat too. And just for the record, those were Wasps, not bees, at least what I saw show up on camera. Specifically Yellow Jackets. Usually they'll only swarm meat and other foods in Autumn to match their aggression because it is their prep time to go into hibernation for the winter.
I’m Méxican bro and I grew up eating goat meat a lot lol matter fact at big parties like Quinceañera and weddings is real common to serve goat meat and yes it’s delicious and for sure should be more popular here in the USA 👍
It's not like this. Rules and regs are super strict. You have to know someone. And it's not as dramatic as it seems. We just hunt because we need meat. Not usually for fun. Lol
If you don't know how to cook goat you cannot get rid it's musk smell, boil it first for 10 minutes then throw the boiled water then wash the meat clean then marinate it with lemon.
Goat meat is the goat for birria ,, beef is just cheaper but the original birria is made of goat meat ,, you can still find places in Mexico where they make fun at you if you ask for beef birria.
@@SamongOutdoors you should look into Maven Optics, especially the RS 1.2. It’s the least expensive scope to have passed the Rokslide drop test, and it boasts better light transmission than Nightforce optics. At $1200, it’s probably the best scope for the money.
Expensive to charter a boat. Cheap to hunt public land. Also, the hunting in Hawaii is great and they need help controlling the animal populations that are destroying the native plant life
@@SammyMoore-tg5gs as being both a hunter and fishermen myself I’d definitely rather fish Hawaii waters then hunt goats. It’s expensive to go to Hawaii period so I wouldn’t be worried about its animal populations tbh. I’m sure they have plenty of native hunters for that. It also isn’t that expensive to rent a kayak and go fishing on the many reefs around the coastline. Hawaii is so special because you can literally be in 1k ft of water a mile off the beach. I just think hunting goats in Hawaii of all places is crazy when there’s like so many other great things available.
@@marcuslarwa9098 you’d be wrong. On average, 4.8% of the US population has hunting licenses. Hawaii DFW sold around 11,000 hunting license total in 2022, which is 0.764% of the population of Hawaii. There is a significant lack of hunting in Hawaii, and with introduced and invasive species posing serious threats to endangered indigenous plant life, an increase in hunting be a much more significant contribution to conservation than fishing in a crowded fishery.
@@SammyMoore-tg5gs yea I get that but as you stated it’s expensive to travel to Hawaii so I wouldn’t spend that much money to take care problems native Hawaiians should be doing. Again imo as both a hunter and fishermen I’d much rather fish in Hawaii then hunt.
@@marcuslarwa9098 as a hunter first and a fisherman second (and an introvert), I’d much rather climb around on volcanic mountains hunting hogs and goats than fish around millions of people.
It’s a good day when samong uploads

Now we know why some people dry 3-4 times fire on their objective before putting in a live round.
Great video nonetheless, keep making 'em!
Stew and grill is the way to go with goat.
Yo this is a dream to hunt in Hawaii! Was this the Big Island?

If youre on da Big island skip da hunt day. Come have a beer with me bro 🤙🤙🤙
Ayyyy goat curry next time with sticky rice lol
New subscriber here. Very much liked the video! Did anyone see the little mouse run by @7:22?
Goat meat is popular here in the Philippines but quite expensive.
Midwestern tacos, nice!
Ground goat sauteed in ketchup and mustard? Hmm. Sounds like trailer park tacos to me.
Was just in Maui last week!
Awesome video
Are you still here i got a few spots bro.
Nice video 👍
Watching...great my friend 👍💯
Public land or private?
What backpack do you carry?
Yessah!
Spending time in that beautiful environment doing a thing I love would be heaven on earth.
Those yellow jackets went for the fresh meat/blood.

McDonald has rice? I never know that
Goat is delicious, but you don't get a lot of meat off a goat.I stew it with some hot chili's and vegies over a bed of rice''
Come Hawaii to eat McDonald’s that wild! 😮
Those mangos look like the Atulfo, I cant be 100% certain. As I can't hold or smell them. Ps WinCo sells them
i call goat lamb light
That was a talkative pheasant
You sure love taco. Almost every video you eat taco lol. Idk about goat and ketchup.
You forgot the sour cream
Is there a lot of public land to hunt. Since they aren't native, do you need a license?
If you don't get rid of that wild goat musk scent you can still smell it when you Burp for a week
👍
Nuisance animal should be no limit on um
Yoooo
Convict mug?
Looks like your cold???
Goat hamburger meat. Only in the USA..lol. Curry goat man! Common !
Goats, really?.....how the mighty have fallen. 😂
Can you please go bass and crappie fishing again?
Wuusta-shire sauce
Bro you pronounce it wash-yer-sister sauce smh
Wow. Horrible. I cant speak for hunting but dude knows nothing about cooking. No oil in cast iron with a lean meat then ketchup wtf.
