When I first saw these, I thought they were ok and didn't see them close up. When you showed the back of them and I looked at the materials close up with that oil slick leather,I was like damn, those are nice. The color of the Taxi yellow is unique and I'm all about quality of materials. Great shoe. Great video.

These 12s are beautiful. The black upper material almost reminds me like the material they used on some of the pairs of the 2018 Gym Red 12s. The material along with the pop of the taxi color looks so cool. Well, I’m a Steelers fan so maybe I have a little bias too. 😂 These will be purchased. Not big on mostly all black or white shoes but these do look really good. I love the 12s esp in winter because it’s like a heavy duty sneaker / boot hybrid maybe swap out the black laces for some gold / yellow.
And Batman is awesome by the way… I do recall hearing Air Trainers is what Michael Keaton wore in the late 80’s bc Jordan brand didn’t exist yet but Nike was trying to get traction as a brand… and boy did they ever bc of one special Basketball player aka Goat 🐐
For me, I was good with the Payton 12. These are the Concord 12's but with Taxi. The hits of yellow just aren't enough imo. I think they should use the OG 12 color blocking, but then just give us all the colors. The upper can be white or black.

Glad I copped the 2009 Cherry 12’s back when they retroed for retail, back when shoes were easy to get. I paid only $140 for them in store just sitting there no one seemed to even want them, size 11 and all. I remember everybody was buying and wearing the 2009 Flu Games, so I chosen to go the opposite route and go with the Cherrys, glad I did considering that those haven’t retroed since 2009. Wore them out till the soles separated lol
