      @@cspmable There are so many good bands under the radar...glad TR and now a lot of other bigger acts are working with HEALTH. I heard them around 2007 and didn't really dig them. But lately I'm in love with Slaves of Fear, what a record. It sort of came full circle because I got sick of NIN after waiting for Year Zero pt II...lol. : ) But the last three 3 EP's he did really make sense to me now especially in the context of Isn't Everyone.

    I knew about Health... I knew about noise rock... I didn't know it's this good. I listened to their whole discography today because yesterday I listened to Slaves of fear from start to finish and it literally touched my soul and made my worries go away... haven't been in to a band this much since I discovered Alice in chains and that was like 3 years back...

    I love Health, is one of my favourite rock bands, I love their old live-noise-almost-punk sound and their newer electronic sound, but the later has still been hard to translate live entirely.

    Just discovered Health and I'm loving what I've heard so far. But, not having a time indexed breakdown... What song starts around 29:20? They melody is gorgeous, but also annoyingly familiar. Edit: Nevermind, it's the main melody of Fleetwood Mac's Seven Wonders. This song is also apparently a cover of the same name by Pictureplane.

    So are the guitars for decoration

    • @gr3y_eminence
      @gr3y_eminence 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can use a guitar as source for CV or midi for that matter. I suspect they're triggering samples of guitars and synths. I would just use keyboards but you do lose energy when everyone is sitting with a keyboard. My guesses anyhow.

    • @matheuscamargosx2929
      @matheuscamargosx2929 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      They are heavily processed through pedals and also triggering some MIDI stuff. This guys have a hell of a setup.

    • @MajoringInCrimes
      @MajoringInCrimes ปีที่แล้ว +1

      nope. they heavily use pedals to change the sound of the guitars and when they play live it’s one fucking hell of a rig they have going on, way too many pedals to count. it’s extremely impressive
