      Which why they are so perfect for stuff like Max Payne 3!!! They are a MOOOOOOD, but right when you think they aren’t doing a lot lyrically they’ll drop a line on me and I’m like “oooooo that was hard”

      cool? I guess I didn't got most of lyrics are about mental health, abuse and self harm. But it's indeed cathartic to hear from those themes, so one at least there are others kind of in the outskirts of beautiful life conformity zone.

    HEALTH truly became masters of their genre. This set so tight and flawless. The clarity of sound is such high level, that every noise and nerve intended comes through like butter. Every alteration is carefully and emotionally noticed. It really is amazing to see them grow so much into their potential. And what a powerful message behind those meticulously placed words, coming out of an almost child-like voice, a hurricane really, that can split atoms.

    • @MajoringInCrimes
      @MajoringInCrimes ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@44gg37it isn’t. i can speak from experience from seeing them live, in fact, seeing them in person showed me that their music uses a lot more actual instruments than you’d think. it’s only for tracks like salvia, die slow etc where it’s a lot of playback. but they also utilise a lot of improv which can be heard in this video, especially jake.

    Saw them live at Roskilde festival 2010 when they were primarily a noise band. Absolutely loved their first two albums when I was younger and angrier. As I've grown older, so has this band, and their sound has evolved in a way to shift from anger and organized chaos to pure drug-induced melancholy disco. It's an amazing band and I can't wait to see them in Copenhagen later this year.

    So I was BANGING Health during late 2020 in the thick of the pandemic. I was so depressed that I was on FMLA cause I worked in a call center, AND therefore working from home, I fully lost my mind lol but literally the only shining, golden memories I have during that time was spending every day playing Sekiro and Risk of Rain 2 with this band blaring, the bass and soundscapes just drowning out everything outside of those moments . Whole time just avoiding the work that was a few yards away. This music and the challenge of those games made me feel like a cool badass person who wasn’t scared of everything, when I felt at my absolute weakest. Anyway, yeah this band kicks ass. Not many bands have an energy and mood like this, truly one of a kind. Bless up, yung gods
    Edit: specifically it was VOL 4: Slaves of Fear, to this day I can play this record front to back with zero skips cause the whole thing IS the piece. Pretty incredible group. Okay I’m done sorry

      @@KaceFiles he's triggering them? no... just no. lol
      they're pre recorded and "launched" from software that is time coded- like every other band that uses backing tracks.

    Having not been familiar with their music, I feel tempted to track down all the members of this band. I want to break into all of their homes, in the middle of the night, and leave them letters expressing my appreciation for their outstanding music; and of course, I would lock the door behind me as I leave.
    If you guys would just let me know a time and date that is best for you...
