Finally, someone who uses an online translator to learn how to pronounce a word instead of being lazy and say "I'm gonna butcher the pronunciation, let me know in the comments how to say it"! I haven't watched the video yet but you already earned a like just for that. 🙂 After reading about the meaning of the song, it would've made more sense to react to the OMV because you'd get a visual experience of that meaning but then you'd miss the switch-ups.
My recommendation is Home back: very deep, brilliant video, fantastic Tatiana going from jazzy/ lounge to the deepest growl ever. Basically, Jinjer are refugees: after their hometown, Gorlivka, was occupied by ruSSia they fled to Lviv and then settled in Kyiv and started touring a lot, getting international success. Their families stayed under occupation. Always read Jinjer's lyrics first to enjoy the fantastic connection of the sound to the meanings while listening.
To be fair, Tati screams AND growls, both healthily, but she does growl far more often. Also, gotta say, her throat IS NOT hurt. She’s just winded. She is an amazingly healthy singer and doesn’t hurt her vocal chords at all.

Always read Jinjer's lyrics: they are very poetic and deep. Tatiana is a fantastic lyricist. Unfortunately, some people get distracted by her fantastic performance and the musicianship of EACH incredible member of the band, and they miss the poetry of the lyrics.
Yo, Bro....New sub here to tell you about scream/growl. They are different but similar...The growl is that deep, guttural thing you hear in metal all the time. The scream is in a higher register more akin to singing (thin Led Zepplin). When I first heard Pieces I wasn't sure, because even though it's a live session, it is "Studio" session, and there is some quite obvious studio magic on that track. Since then, I've watched many examples that prove - She is actually quite often growling AND screaming at the same time. IMHO it sets her apart from all other "Metal" vocalists...

She's not even the deepest growler either. However what she does that keeps her above the rest of the class. Is her ability to switch on a dime. Her clean tones are some of the best out there. There are very few women out there that can keep pace with Tati.

I really appreciate you enjoying the music and it’s great that you did it for such a good reason. My biggest question is what kind of music do you usually listen to, it’s almost like you’ve never heard a band live. People in bands give you everything they have and some times say they couldn’t have made it to the end without the crowd giving it their all as well. As someone who’s played in several bands I’m telling you there’s a very physical element, listen to musicians talk they’ll say you have to have the chops!!
