Man, the map you created is totally amazing! I love the color-choices you made for it - with all the bright colors, etc. . That makes it look really "fresh" and cool, but at the same time it is very much in the spirit of Indiana Jones...a fine balance, indeed - great job :-)
@nights312312 That's not the issue. Right now the remainder of the prints are being held by a third party that is stalling returning them back to me / Lucasfilm. As soon as they are returned, they will once again be available. The limited edition number does not change.
I also have to compliment you on passing on the proceeds to American Disabled Veterans, Matt... You're clearly a guy whose heart is as BIG as his TALENT! ( :/3
Oh my god, I wished I would have seen this earlier. This map is perfect for any collection or Indy shrine. I really like it, that you included the artefacts of the video games. But, unfortunately, there are no artefacts form my favourite game: Indiana Jones and the infernal machine. (In the game you find the artefacts of Urgon, Taklit, Azerim, Nub and Marduk or even the infernal machine under the ruins of the tower of Babel.) It's a bit sad for me and other fans of this early 3D game. I can understand that there were just to many artefacts of one game to include them all in this great map, but I'm really interested, why these historical machine pieces are missing. But as I already said, wonderful map!!! 🤠
The real trouble was that, at the time I did the research for this in the mid 2000's, there wasn't much concrete info Online for all of the artifacts from that game, let alone solid images. :/
Great question! It's been so many years since I did this- but I think that was the one that was difficult, as there wasn't accurate info or images of all those pieces Online. I'd have to look... There might be one or two, but I think that one is missing some and LF and LucasArts weren't helpful on that one for some reason.
@@mattbusch oh wow kudos for the reply! I’m in a massive Indiana mood lately and this map is gorgeous. Since the ability to physically buy it it is long gone, is there a high resolution copy around somewhere? I wouldn’t mind paying you still or donating somewhere.
@awlrite4now That's what I'm leaning towards doing. I'm about to step out and drive 14 hours out of town for the weekend, so I'll have to dive into this with a clear head next week. Thank you for your help- I mean that sincerely. :)

@docmartin72 I'm sorry you feel that way about me. I hope to prove you wrong. Please DO forward this, as it's my heart-felt intention that the funds go to the right place, and I hope they aren't upset I didn't get their permission to help them them out. Be well, my friend.
Respond to this video... I can also tell you that the check presented to the vets will certainly be documented, and shared with the public. But- probably not as a comment here on TH-cam. My email has a comment you left about being a vet as well (though I don't see it here). I sincerely salute you and give you my word that that I am doing my part to see that the proceeds go where they are supposed to. I have been alerted by plenty, but am confident this will benefit vets as planned.
I said he was your friend, he is. Spin it all you want but you are friends. I made no implication about the length of that friendship. I am glad to hear you will not be sending him any money. I guess a lot can happen in a few days since you already said you were interested in buying a map from him in the future if finances allowed you. If you want to remain an Orca member, hope Rick doesn't see this. Maybe if you stay, you can convince him to let Matt have his maps so veterans can be helped.
@docmartin72 Hi Doc, this will be my last response on the matter on TH-cam. If you want the proof, you will have to wait until the handing of the check is made public. Until then, there is no proof because it hasn't happened yet. In terms of working with the charity itself, you'd have to contact Adirondack Comicfest about that, as they will be having that honor (I won't be able to attend the show). As for me personally, I was not aware that I needed permission to give to a charity.
@docmartin72 Hi Doc, I hesitated to respond, as I do with you, because I see hostility in your words. I also noticed that the previous comment was left by someone who created an anonymous account in order to reply. I have put my blood sweat and tears into this for 3 years, and when I had opportunities to work with Lucasfilm licensees on this to make serious dough, I opted to do something nice for those who have fought so we all can sleep easy at night. I'm very passionate about the charity.
@awlrite4now Hi new account person. I hesitate to respond, because it sounds like you're looking to pick a fight. You make all-knowing (yet incorrect) statements, yet demand answers. Let me first apologize for my mistake. The proceeds from this are indeed going to DAV, my bad for messing up the wording. My heart was in the right place, and I think people will understand for whom the charity is intended. Second of all, there is an Adirondack Comicfest. And they funded the production just fine.
Respond to this video... I'm aware of the witch-hunt against Rick Olney. How much of the past slander of him is true, and how much is artists disgruntled that things didn't work out like they were supposed to? I have no idea, and I don't care- as that's between those artists and Rick. I can tell you that my dealing with him (which has been minimal) has been nothing short of professional.
First of all I personally don't know Mr. Olney. I only know him as a comic afficionado such as myself. I've read all the online posts and comments about Mr. Olney. So thus I will not send or finance any of Olney's ventures or exploits. DOn't imply or suggest that he and I are long time friends. That would be ignorance on your behalf.

Temple of Doom is the absolute best!
I totally agree!
