10 Magic Tricks You HAVE To Include In Your Everyday Carry
A few months ago we uploaded a video about everyday carry. It became one of our most popular videos of all time. This is the follow up video to that original video. 10 more magic tricks that you HAVE to include in your everyday carry.
Let's be totally honest there are two types of magicians in the world.
Magician Type Number 1 - Those that leave the house loaded up with an insane amount of tricks and props in case someone wants to see magic
Magician Type Number 2 - Those that have no magic on them and tell anyone that asks to see magic that they "have nothing on them'.
Both of these options are not great at all! There is however a third option. Carry tricks with you that look organic. Tricks that when they are in your wallet or on your keychain they look like they should be there. This way you can be prepared to do a 30 minute show if you want to but it looks like you are using everyday objects and not special magic props.
In this video Craig Petty goes through 10 awesome tricks that should become part of your everyday carry. These are tricks that include props, however the props look like something you would carry around with you. Also all 10 of these routines are awesome and will absolutely slay an audience.

One of the justifications for carrying a page in your wallet if to have an appointment written on it, a time and a name for instance, you can then use those for another effect if needed.

Everyday carry is my favourite topic of magic. I love when magic can be done at a moments notice with only the things you have in your pockets (or around you) there is something really natural and casual about it. I would love to see more videos on this subject, especially like this one, where I can find new tricks to add to my existing everyday carry. I currently carry.... Kolossal Killer (my favourite impromptu trick), Infinity wallet, coin unique, double deception deluxe, Digital Force Bag, Cognito, SB Watch (with TimeSmith), Spotted dice set and mentalism sharpie. Love the ideas! Great remarks on Cognito and the Super Mini Sharpie. Would love to see a video where you do a deep dive into the business and marketing/sales side of your operation.
I always have Mon-Key on my Keychain. And I have 2 Perfect Pens. I also always carry a regular US Half Dollar in my pocket now that I have dedicated more time to coin sleights. I spent the past 14 mos only on card sleights but loving practicing my coin sleights these days. Mini Super Sharpie sounds great-- I have around 5 Vernet Thumb pencil writers-- but having Mini Super Sharpie on my keychain sounds great-- going to pick this up. Thanks Craig!! Oh yeah I also have DFB , Locked and loaded and Cognito on my phone. As well as 5-6 other apps.-- I also downloaded the Mystery of 10 coins last week-- still need to watch it!!!!

What I don’t understand Craig is there are alot of magicians who are sleeping on cognito saying it’s too much technology. I have also heard magicians say the perfect pen is terrible, this is why I love your channel because of the fact you are a real working magician not just some old guy hating on a magic trick because they don’t like it
My everyday carry is Iforce, ReaList, InstaGrab, some simple ring tricks, because ring is always with me. I know that it doesn't count as an every day carry, but I carry a finger flasher with me, because if I don't have time, but someone asks for a trick I can make fire appear and leave. :D

I have got two of the "Fraud" credit cards, so that I can have them on both sides of my Orphic or Himber wallet. I took up perfect pen just recently due to a review on your channel and I love it.
So perfect pen is 100% worth it? I have been thinking about buying a penetration effect for a long time just for fun, I have been looking at this and smooth by Nicolas Lawrence
@@jackmagik8604 I don't have any other penetration effect apart from perfect pen, so I can't tell you if it is better than any other. However, I can tell that it perfectly fits my style.

Here’s to #3. It’s amazing how many of these tricks I’ve confined to the dreaded bottom drawer of lost magic that I need to revisit. The Freewill updates have got me curious and I’ll have to purchase. Just a quick question Craig, I’ve used Gregory Wilson’s Pointless for a long time, does the Perfect Pen add anything different? 😎

What I'd love to have is a notepad that I can and would use as an everyday notepad, but that is also gimmicked in a way (out to lunch, imp pad or the like). Do you or does anybody know of such a notepad?
I'd love to see a third video. Please consider including some tricks with a watch (gimmicked or ungimmicked).

A question about the Super Sharpie: does it rely as heavily on the putty as Double Cross? I have naturally sweaty hands, so the Double Cross gimmick sticks too inconsistently on my finger for me to feel comfortable performing it.
It does, you could just put strong double stick tape though. But if you have naturally sweaty hands maybe a thumptip writer or a band writer is better for you
I checked out the trailer for Will to Read (light) and thought it looked bad. There are 3 items with a possible only 6 combinations (chosen by the spectator). The performer pulls out the prediction AFTER the choices are made. So the performer can simply have 6 predictions on them (in different pockets or something). Am I missing something? I must be. Please explain if there is more to it than this, as it seems too simple. Thank you
The prediction is in full view or even held by the spectator the whole time. It's a really good trick. Plus there is a book test built in as well.

I was bought a voucher for magic shop for my birthday. As far as I can see Will to Read is not available on there, but Will to Read light, is available. I am trying to figure out the difference.
Hi Craig, just a small query . Perfect Pen sounds great but on the WPR David categorically stated he did not regard this as examinable. Before I buy why do think there is this discrepancy ???

There’ll always be lots of new stuff to discover. And obviously you don’t need to do any of these.
But the magic tricks are in the props, LOL!
I’m sorry I’m gonna have to disagree with you with the perfect pen. And the inner guts always came out of all three pens I would not recommend the perfect pen for every day
