@tkcjazza thank you so much for this guide. i'm doing my best to be at a good spot by the time the dlc hits. i did have one question though; when you go to the bottom of raya lucaria to fight the abductor virgin, if you get teleported to Mt. gelmir does it interrupt any questlines of skip certain parts? i'm following a 100 percent guide but i'm always very "ocd" about not missing anything pertaining to story or anything. p.s. just beat rennala, haven't met ranni, haven't fought radahn, gave the knife print to rogier, and nepheli is depressed from the albunoric village thing. D is still alive, no dung eater, and diallos has sworn revenge. varre i'm waiting for altus plateau to further his quest, helped rya, haven't done sellia yet and haven't met gowry. sorry for the long post, i did say i was a tad ocd on these matters.
@@futurewarriorhero123 you’re all good, no need to apologise for the longer post! I believe you’re fine, it shouldn’t interrupt anything because volcano manor quests are tied with lady Tanith and like you say, the others are based on going to Altus plateau/the capital :)
Fun little tidbit for Yura, if you speak to him before fighting agheel, then die fighting said dragon, then talk to yura again, he’ll be like told ya so and then he can be summoned to fight agheel the second time around.
@@tkcjazza Well it was going well until I tried collecting the Fingerslaying Blade for Ranni. Every time I attempt to open the chest, I get a message about it not being my destiny and I'm at a complete loss.

Wait what? I thought collecting the curse mark was needed to trigger the opening of renna’s rise 🧐🧐 - I know that part can be skipped with torrent but thought it was necessary lol

You do not need to go to Altus Plateau at all to do Radahn fight in Caelid. You continue Rannis quest until you find Blaidd underneath Siofra river then go do Selivus quest and then meet Blaidd at the Festival which can be told about back down below.. again, you do not need to touch Altus Plateau
You don’t actually need to reach the Altus plateau before you to kill Radahn. You can get across the bridge to Redmane Castle without the use of the teleporter by dodging the catapults with torrent and then going around the right side of the castle to access a ladder that will yet you in.
Thanks so much man, after my first playthrough I missed/bricked so many of these quests despite combing the map! Really clear as well, I find some of the steps super confusing! Cheers

For anyone that is trying to conplete Ranni's quest early I would suggest going trough redmane castle first because you can get plenty of runes by fighting two mini bosses wich will get you better prepared to the Radan fight, so don't trigger the redmane castle transition before that.
Awesome video. I started every one of these quests and didn't have a clue how to finish any of them. Can't wait for my PS5 version with the DLC to arrive.
One thing worth doing is the jarburg stuff it's basically Alexander and Diallos's quest lines and a few interactions with a little jar at jarburg you get Companion jar talisman and Diallos's mask companion jar talisman raises potency of throwing pots and anyone that's used sleeping pots in this game knows how op they can be so it's worth doing especially if you gonna do Diallos's and Alexander quest lines anyways
Tip about the Alexander quest. When I finished fighting Radahan, I completely missed talking to Alex before leaving. I then continued through the game like normal. After seeing this video, I went back to the battleground and Alex was still there waiting for me to talk to him. So yes, it can easily be missed. But it will not disappear. Granted I still have not done the fire giant and met at the forge. Maybe that might have a different impact!
Yeah I think when you go to farum azula (after beating fire giant) Alexander is no longer in radhan’s area so that’s when it stops you completing the quest if you didn’t speak to him :)
My only complaint is the Alexander the Great questline’s last part, I had to TH-cam another video because you didn’t show the position on the map. You recorded as if the audience knows where everything is by name. Nevertheless, this is still one of the best vids out for Elden Rings and still appreciate your work! 29:28
wish the patches part was at least mentioned during the yura quest portion. Since it's the same cave. A note to not kill him during that section would ahve saved me. Rip on quest and some nice armor i guess.

Great vídeo bro, you forgot about diallos quest tho, its a cool quest with unique rewards. Bernahl also invades you in farum azula, defeating him gives you a lot of itens.
Yeah there was a few NPC’s I missed off this video mainly because I didn’t think their quests were worth noting (from a gameplay point of view, of course they’re worth it for lore purposes) so that’s why some are missing from the vid :)
After you get the Potion from Seluvis and give it to the Dung Eater, you can interact with him again. He will think that you gave it to Ranni actually.
Hey thanks! I've been just running around collecting stuff. I'm curious what is different and what I'm locked out of since I accidentally initiated The Festival.
To my knowledge, you’re not going to be locked out of any quests - radahns festival is the trigger for a lot of “next steps” in quests - all that would’ve happened is that Alexander the Great (giant jar) and Blaidd (half-wolf) would now be in that festival - there was some other places you could’ve seen them before this festival but you haven’t missed anything of significance- just make sure you speak to both of them after the radahn fight :)
I don't know if this was recently patched, but you don't have to talk to Alexander right after the Radahn fight! I recently beat Radahn on a new playthrough and got super worried when I saw this. I decided to go check anyway and he was still there. I exhausted his dialogue, and then he moved to Mt. Gelmir.
I know - I did mention at the end that I didn’t include some mini quests like his and diallo’s because they’re not really worth mentioning - kinda like boc’s but I think everyone has come across boc as he is right at the beginning of the game, so that’s why I mentioned his :)
Good video but I would like to add as far as nepheli quest you have until you defeat malikeith. So you can start her quest after the mountain tops but not before going to farum .
I always thought she "disappeared"/didn't move on with the quest if you go to the mountaintops of the giants -Obs might be wrong but if you're right then that's obs better if people miss the steps earlier on :)
@@tkcjazza I learned about that because nepheli was still at the round table hold after I went to the mountain tops but by the time I beat malikeith she was gone and also you can her her weapon afterwards.

Yeah, but i guess it's the fromsoft way - Get people together to find the steps by the time you've played the game 10x over lol - Hope you get prepared and are excited for the DLC :)
Can someone help me out or atleast let me know if this has happened to you as well. I never interacted with him and rn I'm up to the Maliketh boss fight. I was just roaming around and found his nagakiba sword lying there where he should be? But he isn't there

@@dw4897 you need to complete Millicent’s quest and use the needle on Malenia’s bloom after you defeat her (the rot flower she leaves behind in the boss arena) - after doing that, you will get “Miquella’s Needle” and then you need to use that in Placidusax’s arena to cleanse the frenzied flame - I didn’t show it in the vid but feel free to look it up because if you haven’t beat those bosses before, it can be tough :)
Do you need all of the Seedbed Curses to progress the Dung Eater questline? I got to the point of getting the key and unlocking him, but I don't feel like I had all of the Seedbed Curses
I don't know if this is true, but I think you can get locked out of completing Hyetta's questline. I recall getting far enough in the game where the invader, Fingerprint Vyke, would no longer invade you. I dont know if this is triggered by beating him in his evergaol or from buring the erdtree, but I do distinctly remember hitting a point in the game where he doesn't invade you.
I don’t believe this is true as that is a guaranteed event and hyetta’s quest can be done even if you fully complete the game - I could be wrong though but from my personal experience even by literally completing every other quest/boss fight, you can still complete the steps for this :)
@@tkcjazza It was probably patched, because when I got locked out of it, I've had a couple NPC invasions not go off from game progression. But it was also a really early build of the game too at the time. I was one of those day 1 players.
Hi i got a whole other thing regarding fia s quest and i was wondering if its normal because i did not do thing correctly or if it something peculiar in my game rogier was already sleeping fia killed D and said something about waiting the resurrection of a god. (English is not my native language so sorry for any errors )
Hi is this in Chronologically, By Location? Because its being importent to not missed a quest out. Im afread if you do not Chronologically, By Location then you can miss the quest line.
The only ones you need to worry about are Nepheli, Volcano Manor, Seluvis & Corhyn’s quest - those are the ones that you can potentially miss - I do describe when to do them to ensure you don’t miss out :)
Good video, but some questlines are missing and some are only half completed. It's quite complicated to define in which order you need to do the quests without locking out another.
I did mention this but I was only showing the “necessary” steps and I didn’t show quests like diallos/lotenna because they’re really not necessary and aren’t proper “quests” imo - as for the locking out of one another, again I mentioned in the intro that I would tell you which quests effect other quests at the beginning of each quest segment :)
@@tkcjazza Yeah good point, you did do that. Was just a bit sad cause I wanted to 100% the game with all Items and got locked out of some quests. But yeah. Still a good video with lots of effort put in so I respect that.
@@huewynaut It's all good - Main thing is to at least start majority of quests before going to mountaintops/farum azula to ensure the next steps can be done - 70% of quests can also be done even after beating Elden Beast - It's only really Nepheli, Patches, Bernhal, Seluvis & Corhyn that can be missed based on Game Progression

Guy at ravengers shack only appears if you’ve been to castle morne and started the quest - so he would’ve given you the grape no matter when you kill him (same with vyke invasion) :)
@@masonbohall try going back to the ravengers shack after re-loading the game - that should hopefully fix but otherwise, not too sure why it’s not spawning in :/
I don’t think they ever will and tbh, it’s kinda a community thing now to get together and find the steps etc - I know it’s annoying for some people but I don’t personally mind :)
No, because there's no real specific order you need to follow - The only quest you need to be wary of is Seluvis' - Depending on your decisions, you can lock yourself out of two other quests & you do need to complete it before completing Rannis other you lock yourself out of Seluvis' quest - Essentially, watch Seluvis' guide first and then you'll be good for the rest :)
what if rogiar is completely fucked can i still complete fias questline? i just want the boss at the end cos i did all the steps but the last few the first play when the game came out so i dont remember much

Dude....in Yura quest line you get the Nagakiba.....that's the best weapon available for Dex melee in the game. Bar none

Yeah, but realistically you only need 2 playthroughs- the stuff you missed/chose in the first, you just pick the opposite option in the 2nd :)

For Fia's questline you do not have to defeat Radahn for Fia to hand you the dagger! Not sure what the trigger is though...

@@dw4897 you need to complete Millicent’s quest and use the needle on Malenia’s bloom after you defeat her (the rot flower she leaves behind in the boss arena) - after doing that, you will get “Miquella’s Needle” and then you need to use that in Placidusax’s arena to cleanse the frenzied flame - I didn’t show it in the vid but feel free to look it up because if you haven’t beat those bosses before, it can be tough :)

Do you need all of the Seedbed Curses to progress the Dung Eater questline? I got to the point of getting the key and unlocking him, but I don't feel like I had all of the Seedbed Curses
You only need one for the key but you need them all for the final step :)

I went to see Alexander after doing other things after killing Radhan and he was still there.
I don't know if this is true, but I think you can get locked out of completing Hyetta's questline.
I recall getting far enough in the game where the invader, Fingerprint Vyke, would no longer invade you. I dont know if this is triggered by beating him in his evergaol or from buring the erdtree, but I do distinctly remember hitting a point in the game where he doesn't invade you.
I don’t believe this is true as that is a guaranteed event and hyetta’s quest can be done even if you fully complete the game - I could be wrong though but from my personal experience even by literally completing every other quest/boss fight, you can still complete the steps for this :)
@@tkcjazza It was probably patched, because when I got locked out of it, I've had a couple NPC invasions not go off from game progression. But it was also a really early build of the game too at the time. I was one of those day 1 players.

Hi i got a whole other thing regarding fia s quest and i was wondering if its normal because i did not do thing correctly or if it something peculiar in my game rogier was already sleeping fia killed D and said something about waiting the resurrection of a god. Hi is this in Chronologically, By Location? Because its being importent to not missed a quest out. Im afread if you do not Chronologically, By Location then you can miss the quest line.
The only ones you need to worry about are Nepheli, Volcano Manor, Seluvis & Corhyn’s quest - those are the ones that you can potentially miss - I do describe when to do them to ensure you don’t miss out :)

Good video, but some questlines are missing and some are only half completed. It's quite complicated to define in which order you need to do the quests without locking out another.
I did mention this but I was only showing the “necessary” steps and I didn’t show quests like diallos/lotenna because they’re really not necessary and aren’t proper “quests” imo - as for the locking out of one another, again I mentioned in the intro that I would tell you which quests effect other quests at the beginning of each quest segment :)
@@tkcjazza Yeah good point, you did do that. Was just a bit sad cause I wanted to 100% the game with all Items and got locked out of some quests. But yeah. Still a good video with lots of effort put in so I respect that.
@@huewynaut It's all good - Main thing is to at least start majority of quests before going to mountaintops/farum azula to ensure the next steps can be done - 70% of quests can also be done even after beating Elden Beast - It's only really Nepheli, Patches, Bernhal, Seluvis & Corhyn that can be missed based on Game Progression

What if I killed the guy at the revenger shack earlier on in the quest and he doesn’t show up to drop that grape am I screwed?
Guy at ravengers shack only appears if you’ve been to castle morne and started the quest - so he would’ve given you the grape no matter when you kill him (same with vyke invasion) :)
@@tkcjazza well she is at the bridge location and I don’t have any grape to give her but vykes and she won’t take it

I don’t think they ever will and tbh, it’s kinda a community thing now to get together and find the steps etc - I know it’s annoying for some people but I don’t personally mind :)
i like it better this way .. makes finding secrets way more rewarding & brings us together as a community to figure it all out.

No, because there's no real specific order you need to follow - The only quest you need to be wary of is Seluvis' - Depending on your decisions, you can lock yourself out of two other quests & you do need to complete it before completing Rannis other you lock yourself out of Seluvis' quest - Essentially, watch Seluvis' guide first and then you'll be good for the rest :)
what if rogiar is completely fucked can i still complete fias questline?

Yeah rogier doesn’t effect the progress of fia’s quest - she will still move to the underground area if you do the other steps
