It’s ridiculous that some quests have the mapped marked like volcano manor. Why couldn’t they do that for the rest of the other quests. Watching a guide for this to get cool stuff really takes the immersion out of the game.
Things to note: the Irises of grace and occultation do carry over between playthrough. I was very disappointed with the quests in this dlc. Not only were most of them excruciatingly difficult to follow, but the developers set us up for failure. For those of us who are completionists, this is very frustrating.
Hey man, you don’t have to do igons quest line so early, it was one of the last things I did in my first playthrough and I was able to receive all of the rewards for one of the choices. Anyway, just a small piece of input. Really appreciate all of the effort you put in for us. These guides are killer and I wouldn’t have gotten 80% of what I have without them.
I just wanted to say I did Thiollier’s Q backwards on my first playthrough as it was a completely blind experience. I killed Mesmer then went and found St. Trina while exploring. Then later I found Thiollier and just told him I found St. Trina in some cave by the coast and he was off to the cave. After that the steps repeat. You tell him the words, he invades you and that’s it.

Glad I'm not the only one. I still can't get her to talk. I also killed the lion thing first I think so maybe we can only talk to them before the boss? I hope not...
Yeah you just skipped a step, just pick up the quest from there as normal, wear the divine beast helmet, talk to her, give scorpion stew to consent and keep going from there

Much love for doing your videos and for marshmallow, but this is a bit confusing for my old ass trying to get the most out of the game. Was hoping for a "hold my hand" guide to the dlc too.
That was definitely true for the base game, but I did discover a lot of this on my own for the DLC (with some help from a friend trying different choices in his own playthrough).
@@mikegraham8319 there are only a few points of no return. (Going to Scadu Altus, breaking the Great Rune, and defeating Messmer / burning the sealing tree). Thanks to you and my golem for making what started out difficult (ng10) into a walk in the park.
You're the only quest channel i trust
If you like me and you went to the shadowkeep by accident just exploring here's a tip Moore's questline a lot of people are missing the cookbooks if you haven't told him to remain sad forever or the other option then you can still get all the forager cookbooks and the black liquid when you're in the queue and it's asking you to tell him to remain sad forever or the other option tell him you don't know this will basically be like I can't really make a decision go and collect all of the forager cookbooks and talk to that guy then go back and tell him to remain sad forever or the top option and continue to speak with him until he gives you the syrup as well as the 7th forger cookbook.
I have been waiting for this 😍
Hey man, I just wanted to really thank you. All your guides (the one's in the Playlist) makes the game so much better, i first played the game blind, then on ng+ i played both game and dlc using your guide, it was amazing , i didn't know i missed a bunch of interesting quests . Really appreciate what you are doing here broda. Keep up the good work 🙏👍
Thou art my guiding grace
I was very disappointed with the quests in this dlc. Not only were most of them excruciatingly difficult to follow, but the developers set us up for failure. For those of us who are completionists, this is very frustrating.
Very good video the best guide out there.
Also side note, for the Romina quest you are not required to summon dry leaf dane
this is an amazing guide seriously ty
Thanks bro this is the best npc guide ever
did it in order starting at level 90. finished it at level 134. praise the blood greatsword!
Hey man, you don’t have to do igons quest line so early, it was one of the last things I did in my first playthrough and I was able to receive all of the rewards for one of the choices. I just mention this because bayle was top 3 in difficulty for me so I waited until late in the playthrough to take him down. And I don’t think I’m alone in feeling this was. Anyway, just a small piece of input. Really appreciate all of the effort you put in for us. These guides are killer and I wouldn’t have gotten 80% of what I have without them.
I was wondering why Bayle felt like the last boss a scadutree 3. Got it done though.
Thank you so much for this guide. I missed out on so much stuff and had to go into a new game and do everything correctly lol.
You tell him the words, he invades you and that’s it.
absolute legend for this video. big thanks
huge thank you man, followed this first to end. huge satisfaction gained thanks to you
Thanks man. Missed most of this on my first play through and your guide was helpful
8:25 it’s my first time seeing her and she has no dialogue for me except for “A-ah” and nothing more. I followed every step so far and all I’ve done differently is kill divine lion. I’m also on new game plus and I couldn’t do her quest the first time.
Glad I'm not the only one. I still can't get her to talk. I also killed the lion thing first I think so maybe we can only talk to them before the boss? I hope not...
Sorry I just found something! Put on the mask of the Devine beast. It allowed me to get the dialogue
Yeah you just skipped a step, just pick up the quest from there as normal, wear the divine beast helmet, talk to her, give scorpion stew to consent and keep going from there
Hornsent** fkin auto correct
Brother, your main game complete walkthrough was so good, very thorough. This seems half-assed. I get it's been a while since the main game came out but you were the reason I was able to enjoy it to the extent that I did. A complete walkthrough of the dlc in a sequential video would be great. This is good but seems ..... again a little half-assed. I'm trying to follow but it's like jump here jump there, you should already have discovered most of the map kind thing.... makes it hard for me to follow given my unquestioned following of your main game complete videos. Much love for doing your videos and for marshmallow, but this is a bit confusing for my old ass trying to get the most out of the game. Was hoping for a "hold my hand" guide to the dlc too.
he has shorter guides on it that are more detailed in a 4 part series I believe
3:22 Moore is not there anymore
@@AmarantaThuG did you figure it out?
if you do not summon hornsent for messmer, he will not invade you. you will get his equipment at the end of the game at the last fight
Thank you for this, just what i was looking for as i started playing today ! Clear instructions, pictures and good vocie for instructing!
Bro ur the man love all ur content 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Been waiting for this , im all over the place in the dlc lol. I know for a fact I locked myself out of multiple quest 😂
@AlmightyWel I did my first playtroughs missed everything but icor's quest but if it wasn't for this I would have never got the summon of fortisax
subbing just because of that cute booga cat at the end. hes adorable.
What's funny Is that you can almost go through all the Dlc without fighting a major boss
Very well done! 👏🏻
Subscribed! Awesome video with great detail. Thank you!
Thank you very much bro. Helped a lot

Omg ... my brain hurts 🤪 (no way did u discover all this on ya own lol) great coverage 👏
That was definitely true for the base game, but I did discover a lot of this on my own for the DLC (with some help from a friend trying different choices in his own playthrough).
@@ItsShatter but how would you know in what order to do things so as not to jeopardise each quest line 🤔?
@@mikegraham8319 there are only a few points of no return. (Going to Scadu Altus, breaking the Great Rune, and defeating Messmer / burning the sealing tree).
I was just very thorough about completing stuff in each area before moving on. Making similar guides for the base game definitely prepared me for what to expect.
@@mikegraham8319 only thing I missed on my first playthrough was some of the forager brood cookbooks
@@ItsShatter OK well got to hand it to ya your guide is very impressive , well done 😉👍
12:14 I can confirm this is true
@@protonjones54 came to say this lol
For those who missed it, the interaction goes as follows:
*Ask about the silent monk*
Leda: "Oh, that man is known as Dane. He's been in he service of Miquela the Kind longer than I. He might be solemn of cheer, but he is a fierce warrior nevertheless. There is no cause for concern, Dane's reluctance to speak to you is no fault of your own. We've been acquainted for quite some time but even I have yet to hear his voice. Perhaps one day..."
I did one of the questlines after having to look it up. I understand about adventure and all of that but I had I not looked it up. I wouldn’t know where or what to do and I will likely do it again with this guide
Thank you for the great work man !!!
I sided with Leda on the first fight and then with Ansbach on the second but still got his bow. Sweet.
14:00 damn bro really just said "we don't need him anymore"
What a ride man, TYSM!!
