- Here are some more of my favorite martial arts fight scenes! First up, the final fight scene from 1981's "Kill and Kill Again" with James Ryan. Next is a scene from "An Eye for an Eye", from the same year, with Chuck Norris battling a tank disguised as a human being, in the form of Professor Toru Tanaka, who played in dozens of karate movies. Next is a scene from 1988's "Bloodsport," with Donald Gibb (whom I met in Las Vegas in the Stardust one year!) battling Bolo Yeung. This clip was from a Betamax copy of the movie made from a laserdisc, and looks really good! Lastly is a fight from "Kickboxer III, The Art of War" from 1992, with Sasha Mitchell, who starred in all 4 "Kickboxer" flicks, fighting an opponent,.
Liked the gunshot sound after each round house kick with Dr Toru Tanaka in eye for an eye !!!! 😊
Sounds more like a blaster sound from the early star wars movies IMO lol!!

Toru Tanaka was a tank, he really threw Chuck around like he was a ragdoll.

Love the dialog. Oscars all around for great writing.
"An Eye for an Eye," is an underrated film. Chuck Norris and Mako are great together.
For years that was my favorite( after Enter the Dragon). I love Chuck!
Mako also worked with Jackie Chan in Battle Creek Brawl and fought Bruce Lee in an episode of the Green Hornet.
Yes Chuck is very good I know but if that had been a real fight I don't
believe for a minute he could have beat Professor Toru Tankaka.

In 1981, I was 17 years old and spent a lot of time in the movie theater at the Holyoke Mall in Massachusetts. I watched them all.
Has there ever been a martial arts movie where the menacing gigantic guy is the hero?
I knew nothing about this movie, but I knew the dude with the mustache had to be the villain.

Tanaka was a huge part of my childhood, saw him as the ultimate martial arts villain in many movies. So I was surprised to find out he wasn't even Japanese, but Hawaiian-Chinese. Turns out he started out as a pro wrestler who played the role of a Japanese heel and later got hired to play a movie bad guy.

These 17 seconds by themselves make the whole scene worthwhile.
I really srsly re watched the video cuz of the first clip.. I just can't stop laughing... Thank you for the laugh.. he was posing like a turkey before starting this epic fight in which inspired most of the mma fighters later on..

I grew up seeing the smooth-shaven, clean-cut Chuck, but now he doesn't look like himself in these old films without the beard.
The first fight looked like a Bruce Lee remake film, the second fight was between Walker, Texas Ranger (instead of Sean Connery's James Bond) against Odd Job from Goldfinger.

Chuck Norris movies always had the best and most authentic looking fight sequences. All of the others just looked very amateurish and silly.
A better Chuck Norris fight (aside from Return of the Dragon) is the one in Silent Rage. Check it out.
That one was pretty offbeat. That was almost like Chuck Norris fighting Jason from Friday the 13th.

To be fair though, Chuck Norris had not slept in 10 years, was battling stage 12 cancer of every organ and bone in his body and had not developed his martial arts jeans with "gusset" crotch yet. So thats why it took some effort to beat his opponent.

funny i never knew who Bolo Yeung was until Blood Sport came out I was like G*$ damn, but I've probably seen him in other Kung Fu movies. When i watched enter the dragon "seriously" for the first time in 93 I was like 'isnt that the guy from blood sport?
