Damn , the Yashamaru and Yoshitora fight was exactly what this game is at it's best. A pure dance of death and beauty! They where moving as swiftly as in an anime.
This game is so sick
Tyler Doak seriously it really is
Its weird that so many people see this as a slow game but are prefectly fine with MK11's speed lol.
Don't play MK11 but I think it's because while pacing is the same, MK offer more spectacles between the 'turns' by filling it with combos. That's might be why spectators don't have problem with it.
Man it irks me watching fighting games that take forever to finish one round with the endless strings of combos back and forth.
To me that's slow.
SamSho evolved my mindset on how fast a match can really go.
to me both games are slow but Shodown is slower.
Total casual never even played a single samsho and I love watching this game. Played every SF ever made and every MK and this game just feels and looks so different it's refreshing.
I didn't even know this game was coming out. but I got my copy now. this was fun to watch.
I'm so glad this game is back. I completely dropped out of fighting games for the last two years.
the neutral game of this game look really interesting
This game IS neutral hahaha
Out of all places in Texas they decide to stop at, Fort Worth? Really?
What's the difference?
Cory is a pretty good commentator, I didn't know!
Why Kissie Kay never use dp against Yashamaru jumps?
The fact that this game can have Valle vs Kizzie is freaking sweet.
Coming here from mk11 and dragon ball fighterz (completely different I know) but after learning both rapid fire offensive and slower chess like combat. I found that overall my patience with using my special ability (fatal blow, sparking) is a lot better. I never trigger anything irrationally
Grampa Valle! Evo winner Lets go!!
Genjuro Kibagami The best character
I don’t know why people have not realized how strong Jubei is.
That old man strength. Mochi powered.
Does anyone know @32:48 how kizzie kay was able to do it low to the ground? Did he do the backdash to the special or just tiger knee it?
do universal overhead and input 236 slash. his j236 slash can be done during the universal overhead ( B+C)
As well as backdash
@@vehlinge I tried doing the backdash method, doesn't work.
John Umali gotta input it fast. Still move backwards but it comes out right on the ground for the most part
Samsho is sick :O
Why did the issen at 2:30 deal so little damage? Doesn't it scale to how low your own health is?
No it scale to how much rage bar u have left. The more u hav the higher the damage vice versa
@@lukenguyen3146 Thanks for that info. That adds another layer of strategy to this beautiful mind type of game.
Glad to see someone viewed as weak win. Also very happy to see at least one other character besides “high tier” picks
To fair the game is still new tho' and other than Genjuro a lot of the tiers are debatable.
Shiki is still trash tho
No doubt on Shiki. Tam tam is with genjuro in the non debatable tier
Any idea when it is coming on PC ?
A month or two I think
Awesome Valle!
Great tourney
Watch Korea's tourney with Infiltration and Poongko, if you want high level. USA is pathetic at this game. For now.
@@mercurexi Harsh comment. Maybe true but America had some of the best SamSho 2 players back in the laundromat/donut shop days.
@ 1:11:42 It was the 7th Samurai James. :3
1:10:50 like Kurasawa I make mad films
(kay I don't make films but if I did they'd have a samurai)
Lmfao!!!!....Nerd Josh was wild SALTY....why touch that man’s headset like that?!?!?!?......sore loser...Kizzy hurt his pride
Love the game but the backdrops are very bland compared to other fighting games.
It matches what samurai fights are theatrically. It's just between two fighters. No audience. A pure duel.
*beautiful
Taking aside the bad quality models, but the artistic direction behind the stages is more or less seeking that effect. They have to be the opposite of those lively (distracting) stages that are common in SF4 and SF5
22:34 Punishable on hit
This is often the case with instant overheads. Which is why they are more often used as round closers in games like SF.
@Alex K well said
That Galford at the beginning of the vid is sooooo bad lol
This slow game is suitable for older people who reflexes are not so fast.
Tam Tam breaks the game what a brain dead character.
@Darkreapah psn not quite...he's better.
Breaks the game? What an exaggeration
@@DarkTooniverse when a character out footsies( 90+% of the cast) you in the air on the ground can zone you effectively what are your options? You can't jump because he covers the air and you can't block and crouch and inch up because the mechanics of this game is different. So you are left with very little options. At the highest level I am speaking of.
Seizon Sha watch the video. The Tam Tam got shut out multiple times
Not if you have any projectile
