I don't play SamSho, but the game looks exciting. Everything's so tense. The characters aren't doing bombastic combos, but one slip-up could be half life.
Yeah it's like actually using a real sword unlike many other games with weapons , very satisfying

@@samuelmarques232 Na verdade "Didi Mocó", é o nome que se dá quando o golpe pega atrás da defesa, atacando por cima. É uma "homenagem" ao cascudo que o Didi dava na cabeça dos outros trapalhões. É famoso esse termo na cena brasileira. E KOF é sigla de The King Of Fighters. Acho que o nome dele é um trocadilhos com essas duas coisas. kkkkk

This game seems like a decade old compared to MK11. To each his/her own. Commentators good though; mixing fun and tech coverage. But, back to Down 2
It's supposed to feel that way because it is based on Samsho games of old. It's not about knowing combos, it's more about range and positioning. Also publishing and managing meter. It has a good mix of old and new mechanics. It's really a great game.
They are really trying to push this as a mainstream fighting game tournament smh

But you can actually see and understand what's happening, it's not a clusterfuck of movements with rushdown after rushdown after rushdown. It's actually enjoyable to watch when you understand it, too, not just combo "hype" that gets repetitive and old pretty fast. Well, to each their own, though.
That's funny to me because this game has everything the top games have minus the combos. Tekken 7...the biggest game out, has no projectiles (except the guest characters and DJ) but no one says Tekken is boring. This has all the fundamentals, neutral, footsies, even a revenge guage and super combos...plus the most realistic and satisfying weapon combat in fighting games.
I liked it. Sadly all SF5 fights seem scripted and repetitive.
