Hi there, thank you. These ships will be used so we can play our weird war two games with walkers and portray naval battles in addition to terrestrial ones.🙂🙃.
@@mjhobbycorner5503 I'm thinking, airships! Something a bit weird about them. I did think earlier about the Michael Moorcock / Oswald Bastable alternative history, but it's a bit earlier than ww2. More vsf I suppose.
I have a suggestion for the aircraft. You know when you buy clothes and the price tag comes on a little plastic thread? The flat end of that thread looks kinda like wings, so if you just cut it off you have the start of a teeny, tiny plane. I used this myself recently on a stand of starfighters for Infinite Dark (C3 skirmishers). It's fiddly to work with mind you.
@@Capng123 thanks for the idea, I will look out for that. I will probably make the majority as tiny card models on the computer because I can make quite a few of them. Maybe I can mix the clothes tag idea to bring in some variation.
@@mjhobbycorner5503 look forward to seeing those. I've got a soft spot for the FT NSL ships. Fantastically blocky. I think if you're using sprues, it's an altogether more graceful look.
The Spru concept is GENIUS!!!!! Along with the corrugation on the sides of the card board!!!!! Love the high detail look your getting Buddy!!!!!!
@@terrainaholic thank you, I was happy with the ships. Star ships will be next🙂
You just can't stop making amazing stuff, can you? Not my era or genre, but these are works of art.

@@johnscarr70 I was thinking of airships too, I just completed aircraft and I want to make some kind of walker carrier with landing craft
@@mjhobbycorner5503 the perfect vehicle then. I love the idea.

Nice! My bedroom floor always has some. Presumably from the items my wife has "had for ages, and just not worn."
@@johnscarr70 lol, julie may too, but buried in closets and guarded by bat like creatures.
You are inspiring my friend.
@@Blutgang thanks🙂
Still watching but they look amazing. Great job!
@@Blutgang so far I am happy with them.
I crafted space ship models out of sprues in my youth. Your WW2 ship models look really amazing.
Thanks🙂 Sprues are excellent material for many things, I will try making star ships with this new technique

@@johnscarr70 the paper model aspect will be crucial, together with the sprue bits 🙂
Great work MJ! The models have the look and feel of WWII ships. I bought the latest issue and it is fantastic. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks! 🙂 we appreciate your support
