I had the same reaction to the Tesla model 3 (not even the performance model), the thing is that people are quick to hate on EVs but to just feel that ab crunching acceleration without gaps - I mean ice cars have that brief moment of let up with gear changes but in electric cars it’s just brutal, once there’s more of an aftermarket for them I hope the car scene embraces em, I’m excited for change 😁
@Aryan A Even more insane it has 4 Motor Torque Vectoring. The way vehicles can corner steer with just difference in propulsion on each wheel has a freaky effect. But this is a very infant art form which has not been fully developed yet. What is possible for handling is going to be wild.
Rimac looks like they’ve been making cars for plenty long. Just look at the fit and finish, not even a single creek on that run, all the panel gaps on the exterior are perfect, the carbon looks nothing less than a ferrari or a lambo, and god it looks sexy.
Scary thing is realising how fast the numbers were changing on the digital passenger speedo, realising they were in mph and not kmh...and then realising the driver was actually taking it quite easy...
In Europe you use rimac. Here in the US and china different. Still a very nice car I wish the exterior was alittle more interesting. The lotus ev hypercar looks fantastic and will drive like it it's a lotus afterall. Still no negative here

i love how the moment the driver turned the track mode on it seemed like invisible rails appeared under the tyres and the car was planted like f1 car.....pair that with incredible acceleration....unbelievable machine...I am speechless

It should be better, for 18 times the price of a Tesla Model S Plaid. I hope Rimac can achieve its 150 Nevera production goal, even 25 would be 3× more than the number of Concept_Ones it made and enough to claim quickest production car. The merger with Bugatti could help.

They earn money on selling and providing technology solutions to 10 worldwide brands such as all VW group, Ferrari, Hyundai, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Koenigsegg, Pininfarina and so on. It’s a technology company first and just some hypercar production for fun and better brand recognition.
I'm not sure why so many people think Rimac and Tesla compete. Just because they use the same form of power? Do you compare a Corvette to a McLaren P1 or Laferrari? No, they are completely different vehicles. Rimac is a class of it's own.

Rimac makes such pretty cars. The thing about EVs is that without the necessity to have an engine, a car could really look like anything. You can see that Rimac is holding back slightly on their design. The section on the front where a grill would be is immitating engine cooling -- you see the same thing on the Mach-E. We all know that when a *very* brave designer comes out with the first truly EV design, we will all hate it at first. It will look alien to us but anyone that loves automotive design should be excited.
Even EV vehicles worry about drag and downforce which kind of limits radical designs. That being said, the Rimac has a bit of a boring design language.
Its not just the performance, its the technology that is in that car and the fact that every single componant of that car was designed and built in Croatia
That's definitely my favorite EV car. I'm a tech nerd so I absolutely love all the digital displays & user interface. Rimac & Croatia should feel very proud of themselves.

I remember seeing that run whilst watching the Goodwood stream. They even showed the drift at the top and commented on it - didn't realise you were the passenger! Looked a very quick run and would have set a very quick time if you had warm tires from the get go. That looked a LOT of fun!!
