I honestly belive he's set up to do well. He has his favorite reciver, he can throw and doesn't play hero ball, the o line is pretty good. Caleb has a terrible coach, bad line, and does too much. Daniels is up in the air and more competitive division. Drake has a poverty twam. JJ's problem is that division, he has Jefferson with a good O line and RB

The Bears O-Line isn't nearly as bad as Justin Fields made it look. Not just because he held the ball too long, he more often than not stepped outside of his pocket and then set up. Tyson Bagent 4.3% sack rate in 3 games. Fields 12.9% either the o line Hated Justin or he was the problem.

The Bears OL was not good last season? According to ESPN analytics the Bears OL ranked 2nd in the NFL in run block win rate and 5h in the NFL in pass block win rate last season. Which is pretty remarkable given how bad Patrick and Whitehair were at center and backup guard. The Bears replaced them with Shelton and Bates which represent a fairly big upgrade even if they are just average.
Justin Fields was responsible for a large percentage of his sacks last season. One of his many issues that dates back to Ohio State.
Those ESPN stats are absurdly bad. The Lions offensive line was considered at worst a top 5 unit and yet according to ESPN they were 13th in both pass and run block win rate. I'm sorry but the Bears o-line was not twice as good as the Lions.
Not only that, they also have the Lions 31st in run stop win rate when the team LITERALLY allowed the 2nd fewest rushing yards and 3rd fewest yards per carry.
Not a single Lions defensive lineman made ANY of their rankings despite a top 3 run defense and Alim McNeil and Aidan Hutchinson are objectively no worse than top 15 at their positions.
AND Penei Sewell is possibly the best tackle in football AND he's a better run blocker than pass blocker and yet again ESPN doesn't even have him listed at all in their run block win rate rankings.
Oh and none of the Lions interior lineman made the pass block win rate rankings either despite yet again being objectively great players.
It's not just my opinion, like it's straight up fact that these ESPN stats are egregiously inaccurate. I love stats and I've never seen a site with stats that are just unfathomably wrong. Like truly just wrong. You don't even have to look at other sites, you can just see if with your own eyes.
And I think the Bears are going to be good. Those 3 receivers are all great. Caleb BY FAR should be the best rookie QB. I'm just blown away how Brandon could even come up with this shit. I love him but this video was just sad.
Bo Nix has barely any weapons to throw to, an average offensive line, and a defense that's not going to help much. The Broncos legit have one of the worst rosters in the league. I don't know how anyone could possibly think Bo Nix is not only going to be good, but the best rookie? Come on man. It's Caleb and its not even close.

Put him with any of the QBs of the top 5 guys and a guarantee you he’s in the conversation at minimum.

One thing no one seems to mention when it comes to the 2023 Patriots is the OL injuries. They had eight different starting OL combinations and the run game AND QB issues stemmed from that. When healthy, they were good, and if they can stay healthy this season it will improve the offense dramatically

The bears offensive line was ranked #2 in run block win rate, #4 in pass block win rate, and #4 in total block win rate. Our biggest problem was Justin fields holding the ball too long the problem is Caleb does that too sometimes but our O-line is way better than what he had in college so hopefully we can train that out of him.

Caleb Williams will be the only day 1 starter. Marcus Mariota will start until week 3, Jacoby Brissett will start the whole season, Sam Donald will revive his career in Minnesota, Zack Wilson might start until week 6 and the only way that Penix will play is if either Cousins gets hurt or they secure a 1st round bye in the playoffs

On Shane Waldron: He more or less called the same plays, the OC before him called, so it is rumored that Pete Carrol had him call the plays he wanted. For example he nver used to throw over the middle of the field, just outside. So as for his new OC job, his real playcalling style will show itself.
I want to hold the same optimism you have for Nix in Denver, even though I'm not a broncos fan. but given the broncos reverse Midas touch with signal callers after manning, it shall remain to be seen. more teams should draft their QB's in the 7th round anyway. Sure, you're more likely to get Swag Kelly than Brock Purdy but you may just find Brock Purdy!

...that's Sean Payton's offense but you need YAC guys. I.e., Kamara. A guy who can dominate from 8-10 yards, Colston, Thomas. It's a quick offense but you gotta have the guys to rin it.

When you talk about overall efficiency from staff, coaching, teammates, & system. I would put my money on McCarthy. He has all the weapons necessary, a great offensive coordinator/head coach KOC, & the Vikings facility & staff is rated one of the best in the league.
