absolutely LOVE these old Faraday horns. Love seeing even rarer rebrands of them too!! I have a Fenwal strobe plate that I got and put a horn behind lol. Great video as always man
My college campus is full of these FCI rebranded Faraday 6120 horn strobes. I’ve yet to hear any of them sound. We also have quite a few of the newer multi tone Faraday horns that are Siemens UMMTs in a different housing with different strobes, also with FCI branding. Then, we have the FCI branded SpectrAlerts, normal SpectrAlerts, advances, and L series. Other than that, there’s some Gentex devices in the mix as well, and some voice evacuation versions that have Gentex or System Sensor speaker strobes. Also one building has a lone Simplex system with LifeAlarm speakers, and another two have EST Genesis ceiling speaker strobes. Most buildings here have FCI/Gamewell FCI panels, but there’s a lone Simplex and two EST systems as well.

As you know, I've got this exact same alarm but surface mount!
Ahh, Wheelock sync making makeshift 7001/Ts. Love it!
i did that with my simplex 2901-9838 and a smart sync strobe it works
Very similar alarms to the ones at my local Olive garden
New alarms!
0:20 AHA you found one! A V1071 Mini horn strobe or something (at least for the plate)
Model is 5004L! Well the mini horns are actually louder than the mechanical ones.
Unknown horn/strobe is a Federal Signal V1071.
Plus this takes me back to high school which had 9838 horns on 4903 strobe plates.

This was epic! Love hearing older alarms
A museum in Houston TX had the faraday horn strobes but they’re likely replaced
I love 6120s! And they are skipping. Odd federal signal mini horn strobe with strobe angled to flash straight across
Besides the skipping from the sync protocol, the horns sound real good.
Using a magnet to test smoke detectors doesn’t comply with NFPA 72 you must use smoke entry for compliant testing
Washington uses 2016 NFPA 72 which allows for "methods of testing listed by the manufacturer"
I think it’s stupid how they removed all the pull stations
6120 is cool
6120s fuck yes!
OK I now lowkey want one of those V1071s.
Yes, if they were not hard as hell to get
Those might be 6226s my cousins church in Michigan had 3 of them an they where loud enough to be heard
I think it’s so cool how they skip like wheelock 7001ts but sounds cooler with faraday
Awesome video! That building is beautiful!
New system, old NA's. Love it. BUT is that skipping Wheelock Sync??
Cool
Sound like 7002 T
Are thier no pull stations? Just Smoke Doctors? Either way Awsome Test
They can’t do that, they want to be more safer with no one pulling it for some reason
Theres 1 pull by the panel as required. All others were removed when the panel was upgraded
@@FourtyFiftyEighty oh
Speech 100
But why? That's SO unsafe
Why's it running Wheelock sync? It doesn't look like there are any Wheelock signals. Are they planning on replacing the old ones?
It could be it’s on sync like you said but could be on a panel with sync
The panel might default to sync or something. Either that or a tech is very used to putting sync on
That's a cool system, and rare. Any pulls?
