I've noticed the difference in Bale's voice between Begins, Knight, and Rises. In Begins, he does have a growl, but it's not yet too intense. In Dark Knight, it really becomes out of control, you can barely understand him, but that reflects the anger, the rage of the character. Whereas in Rises, the growl becomes weirdly softer, smooth almost. That's because he's finally come to terms with his pain and his trauma. ...or you know, I'm just overreacting...
Val Kilmer has the the best live action Batman voice. He actually resembles the animated series but doesn’t do an imitation and has his own take on it. It just sounds heroic and Batman like. He’s very underrated as Batman but especially as Bruce Wayne.
West is very heroic and justice like. Keaton just whispers. Kilmer is almost like Kevin Conroy with a growl. Clooney is a rich guy in a cape. Bale's voice completely unleashes the demon.
Joel Schumacher is not the one to blame when it comes to Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. After Tim Burton’s Batman Returns was too dark for kids, Warner Bros booted him and hired Joel Schumacher to make the Batman films more light-hearted and campy in order to appeal to the younger audience. It was Schumacher who actually wanted to carry on Burton’s dark vision and he initially wanted to make a gritty Batman Year One Film, written by Frank Miller. But WB didn’t let him go through with it, and instead they had him do Batman Forever. So in reality it’s WB’s fault, not Schumachers. Joel just went with what WB told him to do, and he did his best with what he had to work with. And according to Schumacher himself, WB told him to make the films “toyetic,” which apparently meant to sell kids toys, which Schumacher didn’t want to do, but had to anyways. This resulted in the bright and campy films that looked like giant toy commercials. And due to Batman and Robin’s critical failure, Schumacher wanted to later adapt Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns and/or Batman Year One (again) in a very dark and comic book accurate way to make up for the horrible films he made and to show the fans his true passion and vision for the Batman Universe. But once again, WB turned him down for both projects. Just recently me and a small TH-camr named “Quezy-Quez’s Movie Reviews” collaborated on a Batman Forever Fan Cut that captures Joel Schumachers original darker vision, before it was butchered and lightened up by Warner Bros. We inserted several darker deleted scenes found on the internet, deleted certain corny and unnecessary lines, and rearranged certain scenes to fit Schumacher’s original script. He made bale re-record his lines because he wanted a raspier growl voice instead
@@fiftytwopickup450 Why is it important if a character iteration is close to a traditional one? Can't you decide for yourself what works for you best? Toni Perez I would say that Christian Bale made the best Bruce Wayne and Ben Affleck the best Batman. But if both egos combined, Val Kilmer did it best.
Ben Affleck had both better Batman and Bruce Wayne compared to Bale. Bale was the worst part of Dark Knight trilogy. His Batman and Bruce Wayne were too forced. I don't know why he thought that throat cancer voice was a good idea. His Bruce Wayne was even worse, he tried too hard to be a generic playboy billionaire. Bruce Wayne in comic books has a lot more depth than a generic billionaire who acts like a brat. It's obvious that Bale never read a single Batman issue. Shame, because Bale is the star of pretty much every other movie he acts is, an amazing actor.

Bale's voice wins hands down. Sure people like to mock it and joke about it with the whole "throat cancer" thing that the honest trailers call it, but is the most animalistic and it really feels like a physical transformation. When he is bruce wayne he talks normal and then boom he is batman! and I love how the voice is the transformation, he doesn't have to wear the suit to be batman, its a state of mind too, as emphasized in the dark knight when the joker crashed the party.
You must be high, it makes him sound completely ridiculous and people make fun of it for a reason. Batman is supposed to sound calm, stoic and in control. If you seriously think Bales voice was the best then I don’t know what to say.
Kilmer is by far the best bat voice, he´s not forcing it like Bale or using voice modulator (affleck), then battinson got a nice voice for a younger batman version
I feel like if I was a criminal, and I heard, say, Val Kilmer, I'd be like, "Oh crap it's Batman." But if I heard Bale, I'd be more like, "I'M LITERALLY PEEING MY PANTS RIGHT NOW I'LL TELL YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT PLEASE DON'T HURT ME." Seriously, that voice changer is intimidating.
I think the reason that Bale’s voice sounds different in each of his movies is because in Batman Begins he actually used the voice during the scenes, but because it messed up his throat, they just recorded his voice later in TDK and TDKR. I may be wrong tho. With that being said I think Bale’s Batman Begins voice is the best.
Affleck, has the best voice, however I havent included him on the list due to using a voice modulator. 1) Christian Bale (Begins) 2) Val Kilmer 3) Keaton 4) Christian Bale (TDK/R) 5) Adam West 6) George Clooney
Adam West: does Adam West voice Michael Keaton: deepened whisper Val Kilmer: talks like Val Kilmer but slightly deepened George Clooney: does George Clooney voice Christian Bale: guttural whisper turned chain smoker
I think it pretty much had too with Bale's psychological effect. Joker was consistently taking over Bruce. That made him out tempered. Most of the people said that it's over the top. The thing is if I was in his position I would have done the same. Look carefully at the interrogation scene. He literally lost his temper. Why? Because, it's the city he cares for. And Joker is trying to burn it to the ground. He was trying to be more threatened with his voice like he did with the other bad guys. But, joker is not the other guy. You can see the raspier he makes his voice, the harder joker laughs. That made him rude. He didn’t expect that. He was alright. He was trying to do it in a simple way. Because, he knew he's the guy who's not looking for money. He just wanna watch the world burn. Until the moment he knew that Joker captured Harvey and Rachel. I think this scene perfectly captured the psychological tension of a person. The reason this scene felt ridiculous for most of the people because he did it in a Batvoice. Just think about this scene in a normal voice. It would have felt pretty much normal. I don't know if anyone watched the movie Prisoners. That film had also this same kind of scene where Jake Gyllenhaal started torturing a guy during an interrogation. No one was offended by that scene. Because, neither he was Batman nor he was talking with a batvoice. Watch that scene again (TDK). Try to wach it in a character perspective. Not your perspective. Maybe, you will find something else. Apology for my poor English.
Bale's voice is most intimidating and unrecognizable as Batman's voice should be.Not to forget it has so many expressions & emotions. After him Kilmer's voice is nice
Because, you have never face someone like that in a real life. In a screen, even a ghost doesn't feel threatening. In real life, I swear you are going to shit your pants.

When he is bruce wayne he talks normal and then boom he is batman! and I love how the voice is the transformation, he doesn't have to wear the suit to be batman, its a state of mind too, as emphasized in the dark knight when the joker crashed the party.
So true
Exactly.
Yes some lines are just horrifying because of the voice! Like SWEAR TO ME it’s just perfect
@@mariamasabek8109 and then he was like shaking with anger at that part too! Like OMG that was scary asf
Christian bale is legend
@M Paws I mean it was pretty intimidating though it sounded bad.
Definitely a great actor. Favorite Batvoice?
Bale by far. Digging the gravel in his voice.
Nostalgic Zone bale is the worst
Riddler 88 Exactly. You can tell he was using a deep voice and had to keep on stop talking and talk again!
I feel like if I was a criminal, and I heard, say, Val Kilmer, I'd be like, "Oh crap it's Batman."
But if I heard Bale, I'd be more like, "I'M LITERALLY PEEING MY PANTS RIGHT NOW I'LL TELL YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT PLEASE DON'T HURT ME."
Seriously, that voice changer is intimidating.
Batman Begins voice: Deep, growly, intimidating.
Dark knight 2008 voice: Throat cancer.
Riddler 88 nah
Val Kilmer was such an underrated Batman. It’s just too bad that actual Batman movie was poorly made. Otherwise he would’ve been more memorable
Kevin Conroy!
Not live action
I loved his voice in arkham games.
He is live action now... kind of.
Val had the best animated batman style, very confident, imposing intelligent.
Val Kilmer almost sounds like Kevin Conroy
The best batman is Christian bale
Na
His voice destroyed it all tho
bruce wayne is the best
Jaaaaa a jaaaaaaaa jaaaaaaa
Tonyler it actually didn’t even with the corny voice, he’s still considered to be the best Batman, so your argument is invalid😂
Tbh now I see why people hate Bale. Kilmers was the best bat VOICE, but I feel like Bale has the best ACTING.
It's almost comical how Clooney just sounds like Clooney lol
Bale’s begins voice was perfect
Val Kilmer deserved at least one more better directed batman movie. His performance is the closest to real Batman character from the comic.
Christian Bale
Which Bale voice tho?
Christian Bale of course..
Batman Begins : I'M BATMAN !!!
Bale's Begins voice was awesome! Shame he didn't keep that one...
I think the reason that Bale’s voice sounds different in each of his movies is because in Batman Begins he actually used the voice during the scenes, but because it messed up his throat, they just recorded his voice later in TDK and TDKR. I may be wrong tho. With that being said I think Bale’s Batman Begins voice is the best.
kilmer sounds like a voice actor for a batman cartoon imo
bale sounded like a ninety year old life time smoker. someone get him a patch.
Guys dont kill me but remember were talking about voices here not acting or faces but val Kilmer sounds more like batman that anyone
True. Though not gonna lie, Val looks the more like Bruce Wayne than Keaton or Clooney
Batman: my voice is deeper than corpse husband!
Corpse: wtf did you say
Batman: NOTHINGGG
In the scene where Bale's Batman tells Rachel his true identity, he sounded great. He was fine in Batman Begins.
I agree. Wish he kept the Begins voice all the way throughout. Must have taken a lot of takes during the filming of TDK
Affleck, has the best voice, however I havent included him on the list due to using a voice modulator.
1) Christian Bale (Begins)
2) Val Kilmer
3) Keaton
4) Christian Bale (TDK/R)
5) Adam West
6) George Clooney
Val was my favorite Batman, it was just that he was in a very strange movie.
Robert Patterson
Vill Kilmer
Micheal Keaton
Ben Affleck
Christian Bail
Val Kilmer actually had a pretty good voice for Batman.
Adam West: does Adam West voice
Michael Keaton: deepened whisper
Val Kilmer: talks like Val Kilmer but slightly deepened
George Clooney: does George Clooney voice
Christian Bale: guttural whisper turned chain smoker
Top 3
Kevin Conroy
Val Kilmer
Robert Pattinson
Val Kilmer and Bale's Batman Begins voice only.
But I think the best voice of batman was from cillian murphy when he auditioned for batman.
Could you send me a link to the video of Cillian Murphy?
I agree
1. Kilmer's
2. Bale's (in Begins)
3. Keaton's
4. West's
5. Clooney's
Perfect list! Completely agree
👍
Van kilmer hands down!
3:39 I’m not wearing hockey pads
Val Kilmer has a very cool voice, I'd even say a little similar to Kevin Conroy's, imo
Best Batman voice is Batman Begins voice he should’ve kept that voice up In the other movies
He couldn't because his voice box was badly damaged
1. Kevin Conroy
2. Val Kilmer
3. Michael Keaton
4. Christan Bale
5. Robert Pattinson
6. Ben Affleck
7. George Clooney
8. Adam West
Nolan might've edited Bales voice in sequels to make him sound more threatening to the enemies.
I feel I have to ask: Which Bale voice? Because I can't quite see it with the TDK one...
Bale doesn't sound scary at all.
He doesn't really sound intimidating. More like he had been smoking too much
Because, you have never face someone like that in a real life. In a screen, even a ghost doesn't feel threatening. In real life, I swear you are going to shit your pants.
Bale was the best, if they didn't tell you it was bale you wouldn't have known.
I think Val Kilmer wins. Wow - didn't expect that.
"Stings doesn't it!"
Batman begins and Val Kilmer’s batman voice are good.
@3:00
Shame Bale didn't keep that voice for the other 2 sequels bc this was his best voice.
his vocal cords were damaged for doing the voice wayy too much without a good technique
When i hear this i feel like batman is talking to me its so good
I love how Kilmer's voice sounds like the animated Batman's voice.
0:39 Mikey nailed Bats
Who came here after Robert's interview LOL
Batman voice
1966: my first job as CIA (newbie player has entered the room)
1989: got lung cancer, bring it on (seasoned player)
1995: check into rehab (season player 2)
1997: born again newbie (welcome back player)
2008: recurring symptoms (was just visiting.)
2012: lung cancer final stages (where's my bucket list.)
😂😂😂
Wow, Val Kilmer sounds cool, a little chill but yeah its a good middle area. I wonder how he'd sound angry though, he needs a little bit of BALE in him.
Clooney is the worst
Its like he doesn't care if people know hes batman
bale best batman in every thing
0:59
Looks like the thug is responding to Batman crackin' one off.
leT HIM COOK
1. Val Kilmer
2. Michael Keaton
3. Christan Bale
4. George Clooney
5. Adam West
IM NOT WEARING HOCKEY PANTSS!!!
Now Robert Pattinson has the best live action voice
