That is by far one of if not the best runs down that track ever recorded. The flow and line selection was spot on. You kept up you momentum and improvised perfectly when needed. You were the track knowing where jump and obstacle was. Well done brudda well done
As much as I admire the technical ability of all these riders.......its the confidence and NO FEAR attitude that really impresses me. Inspiring. Stay well......stay healthy.
I just wanted to write that, I felt it, absolutely great choice of line... I caught myself leaning in like kids playing racegames... Brilliant driver, awesome video, loved it
I’ve raced all my life. Bikes, motocross etc... I felt every second of adrenaline dump you had going on. It’s so much easier to chase, but to fight for the lead and set the pace is something you can’t explain to anyone who has never done it. What an awesome video!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👊💪👍🍀🍀🔥💥
I was lucky enough to have started MTBing when it arrived in the UK in the eighties. My first race in Wales UK, had to run the final part of the last lap as the (unsuitable) front hub died/disintegrated. How technology has changed and improved massively. How trusting these atheletes must be of their bikes. What these boys are doing in France, amazing. You wouldnt want to get any of the course wrong! Respect guys. Thanks for the great coverage.
It is a pity that there was no snow at the beginning of the route, it would be great. Everything else is cool and also the first place of the author of the video. Good luck. Greetings from Ukraine.
I'm in my 60s and mountain bike. It would take me all day and a set of brakes to do this. I didn't even know where the trail was half the time. Great run.
camera speeds things up for you as you wouldn't go that fast or even close, we had a 74 year old with us once, he was 72 and 71 the other times - anyone can ride it just at different tempo
i did some competition xcountry mtb and marathon mtb back in the day.. and i can tell that you did awesome till the beginning.. keeping you line (even if they seemed not ideal) and keeping other riders away from you .. very very neat run.. congrats from italy
Lovely. Very satisfying. I would recommend that you have another cam that shows your body positioning. That way we could see how you land these crazy sections!
Hm, i thought Mega 2020 had been cancelled? Surprised to see this vid. However, I appreciate the riding. Probably the best qualification i've seen so far. I think the segment between 3:45 and 11:50 is the best part of track. It's even better than anything on the main Mega route.
Amazing run. I felt quite a bit of anxiety at times, and wondered how in the world that the riders can stay on their bikes over such rough terrain. A question I have - what sort of camera equipment is fastened to your helmet, and what sort of post-processing is done of the video afterwards? For such rough terrain, the video taken is sooooo smooth. Thanks for any info.
this is the closest thing to flying i have ever seen, just insane. surely you know this track and your bike very very well! if you can next time consider registering in 2k
dude i nearly feel off my chair one time when you looked behind, amazing run. Is it still fun when you are racing that fast or is it just about the race i wonder?

Thanks men
Simply a flawless and elegant execution of an impossible ride. Fractal logic beyond the speed of decision. Thanks!
PS - great camera work

The flow and speed he carried, especially in the curves. it was like poetry. Amazing run.
avoirdupois1 maybe it’s his back yard... but a highly skilled rider agreed.
I just wanted to write that, I felt it, absolutely great choice of line... I caught myself leaning in like kids playing racegames... Brilliant driver, awesome video, loved it
Before even taking the lead he was just hucking his meat off the rocks.

Agreed!
That was insane. Some of those top sections were mega critical and just no hesitation. True mastery.

I'm in my 60s and mountain bike. It would take me all day and a set of brakes to do this. I didn't even know where the trail was half the time. Great run.
I'm almost with you "all trails lead to the bottom".

I'd love to see speed and heart rate info in a video like this!
don’t look back man.. and don’t worry who’s behind.
Good and aggressives line!!👌🏼
Smooth characters have smooth moves.
Nice video
Forget the riders, do they have to replace the tires after every run?
My lungs are hanging out my Harris watching this, fair play to him.

TH-cam recommended this so dont hate me for not knowing....but whats the point of blocking the trail at 3:06 ??
Good question, ask the Organisation 😉
it was not the whole run, that takes longer and i do not like the narrow form, since i watch it on my laptop. but great run, contratulations.
