Thanks. The spoon is a top tip, very little waste & so fast. Have been making curries for a couple of years now after following Al's channel, a few friends have been convinced to do the same with stunning results. Looking forward to what's coming here also. Well worth the effort.

Hi Andrew thanks for dropping by - i hope the content on this bit of the channel will be ok for you. Its going to be in with my other content - so if you hit the notification bell - you can either watch that stuff as well or miss it out. Hope you stick around, best, Rik

That was a great informative video Rik. Thank you i used to do half and half because when watching other curry videos they never stipulated the exact amounts. But i sometimes felt that the gingers presence was a tad too strong, so thanks for clearing that up for me. X

Do you get any separation later on? Or do both ginger and garlic act as natural emulsifiers?

I dont have it hanging around long enough to be honest and it always gets a stir through.

Ya know big fella i buy galic & ginger paste and i end up throwing it out of date as i dont use it often.Am i right in thinking if i get my measurments right i could do half that amount like 500g garlic and 200 ginger. Not bothered about buying a blender as it will pay for itself with what i throw away. Great channel and thanks 👍

How long does it take, thank you

Cant answer that it depends how quick you work. If using ready peeled ingredients - it takes as long as the blender can work. Best, Rik
