Monk's comment about the dolphin always gets me. It's obviously not a sincere compliment but at the same time I think Monk was deep down kinda jealous he wasn't able to go to the amusement park and win a stuffed animal prize when he was a kid. So I think he somewhat meant what he said.
Lmfao this is an alternate ending of the episode, the camera cuts back to Monk after he says nice dolphin with Dukie and them walking away just out of earshot as he says “for real” and the episode cuts to black.
That six flags scene is so important. It shows how unfair growing up in a drug addled urban environment is. These kids had to use drug money to hitchhike to an amusement park just to have one fun day. Those kids from Virginia have phones their parents pay for and probably got picked up and dropped off by parents. They think its novel that dukie and Mike are from the big city because they don't understand how bad it actually is
I like how Michael is a dangerous dude but was the only one who showed love to Duke. naymond is a punk in real life but bullies him. Real gangsters don’t need to pick on the weak.
Great work again with the supercut. When Monk says "nice dolphin..." I can't tell his emotional vibe. He is perma-angry generally so the fact he sounds angry doesn't mean anything.
It was definitely nice to only have 6 scenes to work with for a change haha. It's not like I tried to make the long ones very long, they just turned out that way when I was considering what I needed for the upload.
I didn't notice anything bad with it being made with davinci resolve, looked great! This is definitely one of the saddest scenes and I think you did a good job with the context/setup.
Thanks, I like how it turned out without seeing any actual violence, you can just tell without it that something terrible happened. And thanks for the Davinci feedback, I feel like the resolution is slightly lower/picture quality is hazier, but I could always just put out a bonus remastered version if it turns out to be the case.

You're an artist with these remixes, good stuff! The ending gave me a good laugh. With that opening scene I figured it would end with the "y'all taught me, get there early" & "how my hair look Mike" scene.
Damn all Dukie had to do was make it out the slums of Baltimore and he would’ve succeeded in life and eventually married himself a suburban white woman and making 6 figures probably 😂.
@@imravegodain't no way those girls are actually going to meet up with them. Where are they gonna go, the chicken joint next to the pawn shop and check cashing counter?
@@Townesvanwaits haha at that age they’d probably just be texting a lot and then Mike and Duke would go take a trip to see them again. Much nicer than what actually happened.

Dukie was the toughest of them all having the balls to carry a stuffed animal to a drug corner in Baltimore at night
He’s tough as nails, I bet he survived heroine
Duke took abuse from everyone and kept going. For sure one of the strongest characters.
My heart breaks for Duke…
Pretty sure it’s Dookie, because he always smelled like shit.

I don’t think it’s that deep bro. I think he’s just clowning on him for holding a stuffed animal.
Nah man, he was just being mean lol

Dukie and Michael were like watching a tv show to those girls.
That car scene in the beginning is so pivotal and I think it shows Michael’s maturity.
Thanks for noticing, that’s why I opened with it
Chris saw it too. He's probably thinking "damn this kid is smart and mature....he ain't gonna last as a gunner for Marlo..."
Mike was so out of touch with what was going on that he didn't know there was no school the next day 😂

I’ve been waiting 10 years for an opportunity to say this to someone. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone with a stuffed dolphin though 😭
Y’all taught me, get there early. Why? What I do wrong?

He generally does not have a sunny disposition
He sound the same when he gave the kids money for school 😆
I like this style of edit. Shorter video centered around small character developments. Very epic.

"everything's so serious now"
Very well done! I love your remixes, it kinda inspires me to get back into video editing myself haha
Quality. good work, didnt remember any of this
Thank you!

"That's one of those good problems"
you should include all of lexs’ story, with his mom and all, one of my favorite parts about seasons 4
If I do one about Lex I reckon it’s going to be a short one 😬
@@imravegod i know but still one of my favorite little storylines, just include the stuff after his death like his mom being tormented
Keep ‘em coming!!!! Looking forward to the next one
great video once again

Thank you I appreciate the compliment 😊 this was a 6 minute version of me liking the nice dolphin punchline haha.

Maybe after some state funded rehab a decade or two down the road, he'd able to have that future. Maybe. Or he might be dead before he reaches 18.
man this shit is heartbreaking lol
The scene remix? I could have done this so much sadder in retrospect
Big up this channel
Thank you, I’m glad you like it
Fine, I'll rewatch the show.....
Monk tried to pull rank, but Michael backed him down.
That ain’t the point and you know it 😡
