I was on Holiday in Turkey with 12 of my mates back in 1997 and because we all loved the Insomnia track we all agreed to go and watch Faithless live a massive outdoor colosseum, what a banging performance, we all new there and then that this band were going to be massive!, what a talented frontman I remember thinking at the time, he dropped his cap mid flow and then went onto creating an instant freestyle dedicated to dropping his cap, you had to be there to appreciate the moment but I new as a dance music fan that I would be seeing a lot more of this amazing band, 5 times was the amount I saw them play over the decades to come and every time was something I will remember forever, RIP Maxi , you will be greatly missed and it’s sad that I won’t get a 6th gig with you 😥 But thank you for some amazing memories that I will never ever forget ❤ ✊🏻
