I just wanted to say Thank you to you and your sister. This 65 year year old grandma has been watching your channel for years and I Thank you for every video you guys make. I have learned so much from you ❤️❤️❤️
I love that ,when you had mentioned “other TH-camrs are able to paint and decorate and do all these really cool things with their dolls, doll furniture. Their doll collectibles and look so perfect.” Then when you do the same project, it gets everywhere. You are not alone! I was simply trying to paint a little scene for my dolls where I took pieces of egg carton, and made stone out of it. However, when I try to glue it down and painted glue got all over the table. It did get in my hair my finger stuck together. I got glue on my eyelashes ,”which I don’t even know how that happened.” so thanks for mentioning that.😂😂
Good afternoon, Sunshine. You are such a kind and sweet soul doing this for your sister. The love you share for your family is beautiful. I noticed that your family was with you while you were filming your intro. I know that sounds weird, but there was a beautiful white mist surrounding you as the sunlight came through. It looked like your mom and dad and pepe were with you. Hope that is comforting to you and not too weird. Loved this video so much. xoxo
I absolutely love the colour schemes . I really don’t find muted and millennial grey home or doll furniture beautiful it’s super boring to me . I just love colour for my home my hair and clothes and dolls too . The house looks super cute and you have always got a good eye for colour and aesthetic not tacky at all xx
I really enjoyed watching this, miniature dollhouses and miniature dolls are one of my first loves! It's a great idea to build Dawn a hippie house, I love all of the bright colors. I found a Dawn carrying case in good condition on Friday at an antique store and snapped it up, along with Molly's white trunk which I also found! And then got to watching this video which really inspired me to get my chores done so I can get back to miniatures. :) What a fun weekend!
I imagine your children playing with it someday! Just like my daughter played with the dollhouse that my father made for me. Now it's waiting for my grandchildren.
These are amazing! I absolutely love your color choices and the different combos you did for each piece of furniture and room. I don't know, I don't think I could choose a favorite. It would be like choosing a favorite, cat: it can't be done! Long long time viewer of your channel and I can't say how much I love watching your videos. You've really gotten me into collecting as an adult. My goal is to one day fix up my childhood dollies and get them displayed. I started collecting boxed Barbies in the early 2000s when I was in high school and then moved to getting unboxed ones in the 2010sv after watching you. You inspire me so much! Maybe one day I'll get through the very overwhelming task of fixing everyone up! Until then I live vicariously through you and your sister!
Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun picking the colors out. I'm so glad that my videos could help get you into collecting as an adult. It's definitely overwhelming fixing up all your childhood dolls. I remember that it took me a while when I got back into collecting (my poor dad had to deal with Barbies all over the kitchen ha ha).
That is so neat that you fixed up Your doll house when you were a child. Great memories with you and your father. I'm sorry that your father passed away and your mom had a young age. I have a son that is 12 and he's around your age when you lost your mom😢
Thank you so much :) I'm actually surprised my house survived all those years without getting damaged! It was a tough age to lose a parent for sure, but I'm very glad I still had my dad for ten more years.
@@AThousandSplendidDolls those houses are beautiful and I love the color if you put on your house. Seems like you like green. You have them on your wall in your place

Your dollhouse turned out adorable. I love your colors and the happy little flowers. Colleen's furniture is very cute too and looks great in her house. That was a fun video to watch.
i wasn't expecting the comments ot be on. i wanted to say. I am sure even miniature enthusiasts started inexperienced like you are. everything takes practice and you did a great job.
I also have my old dollhouse from the 70s that need some repairs on the connections of the walls and roof. I haven't done it when my son was little because he did not want to play with it. Maybe one day a grandchild will like it. My dad installed some lamps that worked with batteries back in the days.
What a lovely result :) It's really lovely that you could finish a passion project for somebody else, especially something as sweet as a dollhouse! Blessed be to both of you
This is so fun - thanks for posting it! Groovy is exactly the word I was thinking. I had a punch out kit like that in the 90's, it was just as fragile and rough textured as yours; you did a good job with it. Also, I really love your channel. Seeing how much you love your dolls encourages me to show my dolls more love and play with them more
Aw, thank you so much! I'm so glad my channel could encourage you to show more love to your dollies :) I felt so bad when I tried punching some of the stuff out and it broke (like the rocking horse).
What an undertaking of a project! You did a great job and the colors are bright and pretty. Besides, color choice is personal so anything you used would have been fine! I love the results, you certainly put your heart into it!
Oh YAY . you may know me as a doll person, but I actually like 1/12 dollhouses (and their paraphernalia) the best. I'm still working on a dollhouse that I started in the early 1990s. 😂.
That looks great! I've been wanting to build a doll house for a while now. I got one from the goodwill years ago and furnished it and put up wall paper. We had a craft store called AC Moore that went out of business about 5 years ago here in Maryland and I bought a ton of really nice furniture for next to nothing so your video has got me thinking again about doing another doll house project. I just moved and I'm in the process of putting my doll room together but then I am going to try to do a dollhouse. It won't be as nice as yours but it will be fun. You really are very talented. I love your channel!
Aw, thank you! I remember AC Moore when it was in business--it's a real shame it closed. It's super cool you got a bunch of furniture there before it closed. Best of luck with your dollhouse project when you decide to start it :)
Hi how are you? I watched your video "How I Reattach Dolly Neck Articulations" and wanted to know how can I reattach the anchor without breaking the pin that goes through it? The doll is a Barbie life in the dreamhouse
Most of the time the pin that goes through it breaks. The anchor is slid through the pin before the two halves of the mold are sealed together. So it's very hard, if not impossible, to slide the ring of the articulation over the pin. But even if the pin breaks, the articulation will still stay in place. I've had it happen to a lot of dolls over the years and they've been fine. The pin is just an extra security measure.
🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼😻♥️🏰Love it♡♡♡btw, you call your grandpa what sounds like french for grandpa; Do you have French Canadian heritage? If you don't mind my asking? ( I know it's personal & you can keep that info private if you'd rather not specify) It's just bc of how perfect & clear your American English sounds, free & absent of the New England accent, I assumed you were old stock colonial American (British Isles) descendant🙂↔️
Thank you :) Yes, both my parents were French Canadian (and supposedly my dad had some Native American on his side of the family). Funnily enough, my dad had a very strong New England accent and my mom had a very strong Rhode Island accent.
Thank you so much for your concern and kind words :) I love reading your comments, so never feel bad about leaving them! My channel is pretty slow these days, so it's not a lot of effort to respond to all the comments (TH-cam doesn't really push my videos out, even to subscribers). I've definitely already gotten my fair share of nasty comments since I switched them back on, but I'm in a better place now to handle them. I simply delete the comment, mute the person, and go on with my day. But I would absolutely turn them off if it was starting to get to me again. I think taking such a long break was very helpful for me. Thanks so much again, and best wishes to you and Priscilla!
@@AThousandSplendidDollsOh good, that makes me happy to hear❣️ Block them, that’s what some other doll TH-camrs do. I really enjoy Angel and Tony Loza’s channel (they love your channel btw), and are siblings just like you and Colleen. In many older videos you don’t see or hear Tony except when he laughs at stuff Angel says (he’s become way more talkative now) anyway - people watching would comment mean things about his laughter!! Angel would tell them to stfu because Tony wasn’t going anywhere (they were roommates as well), and I think he just started blocking ppl who said mean things about Tony (as he should! We’re just lucky to be invited into your doll rooms, and that invitation can be revoked). Pardon my rambling. This was a lovely video. I think about my childhood a lot, too, it’s closer to me than ever this year. I’m glad to hear you’re still going strong! And thank you for your reply 🩷 I didn’t get a notification, will have to look into that. Hugs from us 🐾 💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕
I'm sorry to hear that other collectors get negative/unnecessary comments, although it's sadly not surprising :( People can be so cruel saying things about how someone laughs (which is ridiculous since we can't help how we laugh). I'm so glad you enjoyed the video :)
