It bothers me how they're only going to be tossed into a haunted house. I wish these could be restored. Ive never heard of these before now. But its such a shame to see such beautiful pieces just get left to rot. If you're gonna buy them, why not at least try to get them restored? Even if they'll only be displayed and not used. Such a shame.

@@atombones8269 The original creator(s) are still around. Disney Imagineer Larry Nikolai had a huge hand in building these characters and he's given me his blessing and help to get my set restored. The original company who created them is helping me as well. Everyone's in support of these shows being restored (except for the owner of these and FNAF fans)
CavitySam FNAF is what got me into animatronics first. I started looking through videos similar to this one showing broken animatronics until eventually they started making me upset. I started getting into restoration videos and videos exploring the history of Showbiz Pizza and Chuck E. Cheese and now I love learning about them. I’ve seen a lot of people like me get into animatronics this way so for as many stupid 12 year olds who want creepy broken robots there are still people who just want to see characters given new life. I still consider myself a FNAF fan as I genuinely enjoy the games even though FNAF has tainted animatronics for many. I really hope you get your set restored and I wish you the best. I hope the owner snaps out of it and realizes that someone would pay good money to take these characters and give them the care they desperately need.
To be 100% honest, these characters are WAY better than the ones in Chuck E. Cheese. They're more thought out and original and of course more interesting, being they're all circus animals. I wish one day someone will remake these and they'll perform again.
I have the hole band. But Barneys mac vale is broken I ordered a new on. Besides that my set is in working order. And I have a fully working 3 stage Chuck-E-Cheese Jasper.
I really wish there were more videos, pictures... ANYTHING about them!! I had no idea that there was a giraffe, bird, or elephant!! It's sad seeing them like this

It’s honestly really disappointing to see all of these wonderful character with potential being used for a haunted house and not being restored at all. Hopefully sometime in the future they will be in better hands. They have so much potential and I’ve fallen in love with them just from the designs and the music in the background. They all seem so lively and great. They could definitely be restored if wanted.

Rebuild- them? Is not 🦆 cheaper- do u know everything u need? It takes millions to rebuild every circus playhouse animatronic. It's better to just restore! Cuz restoring is infact cheaper and ik bc I used to restore old animatronics until I got kicked out for looking at some Tex critters pizza jamboree robots-_-
It's a little crazy how I've never heard of any of this stuff. They've almost been lost to time. I just found out about Rock-a-Fire Explosion in 2014 & now I'm introduced to Circus Playhouse Restaurant. I was born in 1988, so I knew about Chuck E Cheese's from a young age. I enjoy robots & puppets because of that place & Sesame Street. Thank you for this video & the music. It's so much fun.
I was born late 90s so before my time but I woulda loved these guys as a kid! This is sad. What a charming song. They don't seem creepy at all. Unlike those Chuck e cheeses abominations. These guys seem friendly! Haunted house? That's lame. Restore them! For the kids! They got enough scary stuff to entertain them. I'm not even near 25 yet & even I could use some wholesome fun:(

Little kids still seem to love them, even the freaky chuck e cheese rejects at the county fair (I think they were originally Rockafire units, but were 'restored' and not very well into new characters) get a ton of little kids watching them with delight.
It's sad that people mostly associate animatronics with Five Nights at Freddy's. To see these animatronics taken to a haunted house instead of properly restored, and used for what they were meant for is truly sad.
These animatronics voices could be corrupted so we probably could've not hear them. So next time when the AVG fix them we could work the 90's animatronics! AVG please fix them!!!

It's rubber! The faces were made out of silicone and over time it reverted back to liquid and melted all over and inside them. The same thing happened to my Tex Critter's show made by the same company.
I doubt you'd even be able to do that since the wires are probably fried due to water damage and the fire that happened. And even if you could start them up, the movements wouldn't work properly, if at all.
Why does it seem like every person who has these types of rare, nostalgic animatronics never want to fix them? They could have at least given them to someone who actually cares about them. Smh.
If I could, I would buy them and then give them for free to someone who has the skills to fix them. I mean, as much as I would want them, I would not be able to fix them.
It’s a shame that more people who buy these aren’t restoring them. We need an animatronic museum that can preserve them and teach the public. They are such an important part of robotics history. I’m curious though: why are some of these covered in spilled paint? What the heck happened?
There is a museum called Smittys Super Service Station. Google the name for the website. You can also watch a video on TH-cam by Tuv. Search for the title I investigated abandoned animatronics. Very interesting stuff. I remember going to Circus Playhouse and had my 12 birthday party there. I could walk to it from my house so a lot of tokens were purchased! That was in the 80s. Miss that place. They had the best pizza sauce ever!

I like how they actually have bodies and legs that are shaped like their actual animal counterparts. Especially Leo's legs and chest. I would very much like to see them restored though. Maybe after the haunted house they will be. Let's hope so.

She actually may have been salvageable and used for something else. She was above the stage! I doubt it melted her entirely, if it didnt melt the plastic casings of the others it wouldnt for her.
Circus Playhouse played a huge roll in my life as a child and I obsessed with it well into my teens. I never knew it burned down. We went there every weekend. Hearing this music again makes me feel closer to my mother who's passed

I have so many questions when I watch these. Like... are the original designers, artists, or makers still alive or around? What do they think of this? I know this particular person said they weren't to restore them but I often wonder if it's because it's a financial issue and if so, I truly do wonder if people made little donation jars or tip jars to go towards restoration costs, how many people would genuinely pull through to make that restoration possible? I think that'd be worth a shot in the near future.
The original designer of this show is Disney Imagineer Larry Nikolai, and in his Facebook post regarding the show he states that he's not fond of them at all. I'm tempted to get the high quality photos of these characters printed up and send them to the owner of the show with a note on their history as well as an offer of my services for free should he ever decide to restore them.
@@MacTonight that's shocking and unfortunate but I suppose fair as an artist lol! That sounds like a plan. I would love to see what you could do in matter of restoring them to their original glory. I still stand by it though, should they ever decide to refurbish them or have them done, I certainly think a donation jar would be a nice way for its supporters to help out as well! I know many would love to be a part of making that happen.

Batt E Bird sounds like Toad from Super Mario kind of, I like that. And Lionels voice is nice too! The music in general is cool, I wish they would play somewhere again and get some love.

I don't get why people insist on making animatronics scary. Tbh, it's really upsetting seeing people use these wonderful guys who were supposed to bring joy to scare people, especially seeing how these are some of the few circus playhouse animatronics to have been known to still exist.

Maybe they could even be traded for a CEC/similar band that's less historically significant? These guys are super beautiful, and I don't think the specific kind of animatronic would matter for a haunted house

I never heard of these guys and I grew up in the 80’s. I wish that they were in my location. It would’ve been fun to have seen the show. Especially with the very catchy sound track they have. I do know that parts for their pneumatic systems are still available through Parker industry and their air cylinders and air regulators to. So there is a glimmer of hope if someone wants to take them and restore them back to their former glory.
If these are going to a haunted house and nothing can change that, I have an idea for that guy. Fix up the mechanics inside of them, but keep the cosmetics the same, so they move and preform inside of the attraction, looking like that, with the right showtapes, that could be properly scary. Only problem is I'm not sure if the cosmetics would stay in useable condition during the process.
These guys got flash banged back into my memory recently. Something about them when I discovered them years ago was nostalgic, and they’re even more nostalgic now
There was a Circus Playhouse in Jonesboro,Georgia back in the 80s. I remember these animatronic characters dearly! One of the better memories of my childhood was getting out of Atlanta and driving 20 miles south to Jonesboro to Circus Playhouse. They had good pizza too.

It honestly is so heartwrenching to see creations meant to inspire joy and fun in such a state. Is there any information on that humanoid one? It's clearly meant to be a human, I'd think that within the context of the songs, a clown, perhaps? I've never seen or heard of a humanoid animatronic from that timeframe, though, not that i've been researching this much at all yet.
I'm 12 and only today i found about these guys. This is so sad 😭. I feel so bad for their little sad faces tied up to the ceiling like that. The songs from good times playing in the background and their poor staring eyes. I never knew about these guys but i feel so upset about this. I get attached to things easily too :/ Im so sorry to all of you who lived your childhood with these guys and now its all gone :(

The creator of this video stated in the description that they won't be fixed, and the owner probably retired already.
At that point i think i would be cheaper to just rebuilt these than restore them

Circus Playhouse played a huge roll in my life as a child and I obsessed with it well into my teens. I never knew it burned down. We went there every weekend. Hearing this music again makes me feel closer to my mother who's passed
Between the water damage and burnt rubber, these guys have to smell awful. Still cool looking though.

It makes me sad to see them like this and them not getting restored. I've always been a fan of animatronics, especially singing animatronic bands like Rockafire explosion and Munches make believe band. I hope these guys will get restored and mabey the places will be brought back

I have so many questions when I watch these. Like... are the original designers, artists, or makers still alive or around? What do they think of this?
I know this particular person said they weren't to restore them but I often wonder if it's because it's a financial issue and if so, I truly do wonder if people made little donation jars or tip jars to go towards restoration costs, how many people would genuinely pull through to make that restoration possible? I think that'd be worth a shot in the near future.
The original designer of this show is Disney Imagineer Larry Nikolai, and in his Facebook post regarding the show he states that he's not fond of them at all.
I'm tempted to get the high quality photos of these characters printed up and send them to the owner of the show with a note on their history as well as an offer of my services for free should he ever decide to restore them.

That sounds like a plan. I would love to see what you could do in matter of restoring them to their original glory. I still stand by it though, should they ever decide to refurbish them or have them done, I certainly think a donation jar would be a nice way for its supporters to help out as well! I know many would love to be a part of making that happen.

This hurts. Seeing such adorable characters in this condition really does make you feel bad.
Even tho they're ruined they look in good condition better then other animatronics I've seen. I'd love to see them be restored
I hate seeing this, and esp because they are being put into a haunted house and not being restored all these animatronics brought joy and happiness to lots of people #saveanimatronics

How exactly did these animatronics work? Was it the typical Showbiz/CEC method, with pressurized air controlling the movements?
they don't deserve to be used at a haunted house :( they should be restored and maybe be a little attraction somehwere
It seems like they're being used for display/advertising in the shop nowadays. The owner seems to have other cool collectibles on display too.
I wish that these old gems would be restored.

This is a great source for me, as I want to write about animatronics that have been neglected and have fallen into dissaray.
This is so ridiculously spooky and heart-crushingly sad at the same time.

I don't get why people insist on making animatronics scary. Tbh, it's really upsetting seeing people use these wonderful guys who were supposed to bring joy to scare people, especially seeing how these are some of the few circus playhouse animatronics to have been known to still exist.
Ahoyhoy There, Fellow TH-camrino! These poor guys. I like the look of the animatronics. Their eyes are different from the Chuck or Rock a Fire animatronics.
Dam these are massive! It could be easy to replicate them (time consuming and cost consuming)

Maybe they could even be traded for a CEC/similar band that's less historically significant? These guys are super beautiful, and I don't think the specific kind of animatronic would matter for a haunted house

I never heard of these guys and I grew up in the 80’s. I wish that they were in my location. It would’ve been fun to have seen the show. Especially with the very catchy sound track they have. I do know that parts for their pneumatic systems are still available through Parker industry and their air cylinders and air regulators to. So there is a glimmer of hope if someone wants to take them and restore them back to their former glory.
It's sad to see Anamatronics in this condition 😢. I love Anamatronics but when they are abendoned or not working anymore it's sad...
If these are going to a haunted house and nothing can change that, I have an idea for that guy. Fix up the mechanics inside of them, but keep the cosmetics the same, so they move and preform inside of the attraction, looking like that, with the right showtapes, that could be properly scary. Only problem is I'm not sure if the cosmetics would stay in useable condition during the process.

There was a Circus Playhouse in Jonesboro,Georgia back in the 80s. I remember these animatronic characters dearly! One of the better memories of my childhood was getting out of Atlanta and driving 20 miles south to Jonesboro to Circus Playhouse. They had good pizza too.
I never saw these guys before but this is interesting.

the first songs slaps ngl, but also they look so amazing!! it's a shame they are in the condition they are if they were restored it would be amazing. They're size is intimidating even watching a video of them! I wish I could know more about them I think they are a gem

It honestly is so heartwrenching to see creations meant to inspire joy and fun in such a state. Is there any information on that humanoid one? It's clearly meant to be a human, I'd think that within the context of the songs, a clown, perhaps? I've never seen or heard of a humanoid animatronic from that timeframe, though, not that i've been researching this much at all yet.

Some weren't too bad. Others were haunting. Always interesting seeing the actuator and mechanics of an anamatronic. Wonder what tech they used.
I'm 12 and only today i found about these guys. This is so sad 😭. I feel so bad for their little sad faces tied up to the ceiling like that. The songs from good times playing in the background and their poor staring eyes. I never knew about these guys but i feel so upset about this. I get attached to things easily too :/ Im so sorry to all of you who lived your childhood with these guys and now its all gone :(
