Ennio Moresco well head CEO of ktm discontinued it for some reasons that “it was fast” and “not safe” and seems like rc8 wont be back anymore but who knows? That beasty orange was good already in the litre-class sportbike.

Sure they have a powerful engine but the break a lot, the modern ones are not very bad but the old ones are made with scrap metal 😂

When I clicked this video I thought it was gonna be that you put fairings on a Superduke, but the fact that you actually built an entire motorcycle by yourself from nothing is just mind-blowing to me. I mean, I can't even call you 'smart'. You're so far beyond that I can't even articulate what that is. Like you say at the 5 minute mark in this video - "Puzzle time" - taking on a project like this is so complex and so intricate and so detailed that the fact your brain can process so much information and interpret it into feasible ideas is incredible. "Puzzle" is an understatement. This is like a mega rubrix cube with a chess board on each square. You are a literal genius not just because of your abilities but also because of your ability to learn. You face a problem and you believe you can figure it out. You go back to the drawing board, you consider many options, you try, there's error, you try again, you keep trying until something words. You're a code-cracker, an unriddler of riddles in the flesh. And here I am struggling for a year just to get a starter motor for my Puzey XTR-4 500. I wish I knew a guy like you nearby. Haha. Enjoy your bike, man.

KTM should do this! Epic build bud! Been talking with KTM HQ before about a new RC8 1290 but there is just no market for the bike. The market of racing bikes in Europe is becoming a dying breed. 15 years ago when i started riding motorcycles it was race bikes everywhere you watched. These days it's touring , adventure or naked bikes. That's why KTM does not want to build one , because they would not sell enough to benefit from it.
I have gotten out of the crotch rocket stage and entered Supermoto’s and naked bikes but this thing is absolutely art in its purest form! Amazing work!
