This was a wonderful video! I’m a vet tech student in my 1st year and also work at a vet clinic as an assistant. I’ve had zero experience in this field and they have me doing urinalysis tests, however I have a really hard time being able to pick out what I’m looking for on unstained slides. Most of the techs there don’t stain their slides but I feel I can see better with stains. Your explanation of what to look for and how to do all of this makes more sense to me watching this than doing it on my own. But now I feel more confident in being able to do this!
You are such a beautiful person dear Doctor. I was looking for your email to ask you some questions but ill post here hopefully you will answer me. can you please make a video about the must have or at least all the machines you have in your clinic with the name of the society and the type and why did you choose it over the others existing in the market. I was always looking for answers to my question and i really hope youll find some time for that to give as vets some help. much love and respect.
I have those same exact test strips I've used at home. I get concerned when I start reading all the info in the instructions etc it comes with where it talks about all these potential false positives. Or if ascorbic acid is high then it could make other results not accurate and so on. So how would you know what's showing is correct then
My dog just got over a really bad kidney infection hes ok now ,but the vet found on his urinalysis he is showing 1000 glucose in his urine, he had blood work his blood work was fine the vet ruled out diabetes, I have test strips here can you tell me how long I should wait for the results on the glucose test.ty

One of my favorite labs to perform. Especially under the scope.
