Last week, I spoke to a taxi driver here in Abu Dhabi. He and one other staff operate Camry for 20 hours per day in two shifts. Despite this relentless usage, the car is in immaculate condition, having traveled over 500,000 kilometers.
At the end of the day its about having fun rather than setting lap records (for non professional drivers) a front wheel 5 seater sedan with CVT might not be as fun as driving a GT3 RS but can get the job done.

PLEASE MAKE MORE SUCH TRACK GUIDES! especially the ones which are accessible to the public. it would help a lot of us enthusiasts dreaming to enter motorsports to hone their skills. we would even appreciate a tarmac autocross circuit guide. and the best part was that you made this track guide with a Camry. please continue doing these in slow and dynamically weak cars which makes it more relatable. all the best vivekji!
I was not a big fan of camry. But this gen Camry grabbed my attention, eventhough neither I haven't driven the car no knew the spec. It is interesting that their numbers also improved significantly. I have personally felt in Trivandrum Kollam Pathanamthitta and Alleppey districts. I have spotted many with KL06 registration also. I also thought , the luxury, comfort, the fuel efficiency match well as an all-rounder and daily driver. Especially for those who want to keep a car long time with less niggles, even this price point is worth. Pls host a track day vivekji. And asking forthe 4th time "How to get a quartermile magazine?"
It’s a very nice car vivekji 🙌, we were planning to buy a Mercedes Benz C-class / BMW 3 series , but at last we got the Camry 🖤, it’s really an underrated car.. it goes 0-100 under 8 seconds, it delivers good performance, handling and comfort at the same time 🙌, But I think the pricing is a bit on the higher side.. it costed me almost 60 lakhs onroad..

Our family car is the previous gen XV50 hybrid. It's a bit like a pudding in the corners and at triple digit speeds but it's so comfortable and consumes less fuel that smaller cars we have owned especially the baleno RS.
Hi Vivekji, nice episode on the race track that is coming up, the COAST TRACK. Never thought much about the Toyota Camry in the past, with it drab, disproportionate body panels with a high ground clearance as it appeared from behind. But this upgrade appears more sporty with its redesigned bumpers, the alloys - that give it a sporty look. Even the side view appears to have become better with an equally good looking boot. As you have mentioned the drivability too appears to have improved removing that sluggish motion image that it carried all this while. The video looks very crisp and bright (well lit) unlike your earlier episodes - did you change your recording camera? Keep on at it and bring in more new reviews in the coming weeks and months.
