@@SG01122 Filters can be bought online. Air, Cabin filters 1- 1.5 K each, Fuel filter 4K, need to be changed every 30K km, Oil 6.5K online or near Chalai Market. Periodic service basic tools vech namuk thanne cheyavunathe ollu. At the garage, it will cost about 2K. The garage I take my car to is at Kumarapuram marked as Achu's Garage online. The owner is very friendly and knowledgable, the cost are also low. For performance parts I have some contacts with some custom shops who sourced me brembo pads, rotors, ECU remap etc.

When i think BMW, E90 comes to my mind. The default BMW for me is E90 as it was one of my favourite car when i was a kid and the first premium car i started to notice. I still drool over when a E90 passes on the road.

Cant agree more. I have a 2016 430i in Singapore. Crazy expensive to maintain, esp after each service but the thrill and fun it offers is unparalleled. I have read online that folks, especially in US and UK say that m3/m4 and 440/340 are the fast ones and 430/330 is slightly underpowered. But for a layman mallu like me (my prev car was figo in india), this is insanely fast with 0 to 100 of 5.8 sec. Especially with sport + and manual transmission, it is neck snapping fast.

Owns E92 coupe 328i. You missed the battery ground straps, the ignition coils, TCM modules. Also try to change your transmission fluids if it is not a very high milage car. Instead of replacing the VANOS solenoids try cleaning them with brake cleaners or wD40 until you hear the tick sound before replacing. The steering racks could also fail but bosch makes cheaper one. Oil pan gasket leaks are common also oil plug washers with the rubbber bushings must be replaced. Nice one brother. The inline six is butter smooth. After market suspension system like tiens and bilistien would make your cars go wild with curves. Sadly we never had the coupes in India and they look damn timeless. Also stage one remap can give 330i around 280 bhp power with no part upgrade.🙂❤️

Personal opinion: Buy a German car new and get rid off it after the warranty expires. Or buy one from the 90s or earlier which has no tech and fewer things to go wrong. Anything else is just going to be a money pit as it gets older. Japanese alternatives are way better in ownership experience. Or get a porsche because if you ask me, that's the only brand worth the hassle. 😌

Excellent episode .. Can’t put it better. But BMW has improved reliability a lot recently. From 2020 onwards BMs are a lot better.. especially the B58 engine iterations
