Hi mate. Unfortunately I never filmed the removal of the baffles from the can. I can however see if I can get a small amount of footage which I will add to my channel of how it now looks internally after removed if you would like to see that. Will do my best to explain what it was I did.
Afternoon mate. It's Kris. Just a reply on removing the baffles. It is quite a tricky job and took me around 3 hours. Possibly a tad longer. There are 3 in total inside the can. The first 2 are held in place with around 10 spot welds. The first one you come to can be removed, after breaking these spot welds, out the end of the can with no further issues. The second is a bit of a pain and will need some bending and cutting as its to big to take out whole. In order to break the spot welds I went to town on it with a 20 inch masonry chisel and a lump hammer. You will have to hit it hard. The 3rd and final baffle which include the piping which exits the exhaust is an absolute pig and you will need to persevere. Again it's held in with spot welds but there is also a seam welded on a bracket between the 2 pipe baffles. Because of this a lot of people only remove the first 2 and leave the 3rd but it can be done. I was sceptical about the weight needed behind the hammer incase of damage to the can but it held up well. Obviously the choice is yours but beware of damage if you go ahead with it. Taking your time is key I would say.
@KrisRaybould top stuff thanks I've bought a spare std one to practice on, I may open it and re weld back together, thanks again and Happy Christmas 🎄👍

this heat shield is a cheap piece of metal with graphics? You can bend it to shape?
Its Carbon Fibre so would break if bent
Are these 17” wheels of what bike mate ?
They are the standard wheels on both bikes mine are just powder coated Orange.
Beautiful exhaust but terrible engineering of the carbon heat shield.
