Thank you for your review! Some sources claim it's brewed at Krombacher - which is a popular beer in DE. It's my go-to Wegbier "road beer" when in the UK. Glass bottle, price and Reinheitsgebot make it a good selling proposition.
Interesting i picked up some rheinbacher here in Ireland and its a different label altogether and higher abv of 4.9% French brewed.. wasnt great and had a skunky underlying taste. Disastrous stuff.

Thanks for the extra info. It is a good beer 👍
Im off to Aldi tomorrow. Any Lager recommendations?
Apologies for the late reply. Aldi do a Rossini Gran Riserva which is similar to the Peroni Gran Reserve, a very decent lager. 👍🍺
It's a simple cheap lager, I prefer it to UK brewed Stella etc so pretty good value!
Oh yes, it's a lovely lager Tom. Thanks for your comment 👍
Hi Andy, I love this beer, I usually buy in the can if the homebrew has run out.
I'd be happy to make a pilsner that good.
Cheers mate 👍🍺
Thanks for the comment. It was a decent enough Pilsner, I do prefer their Gran Reserva. Have you tried that? 🍻
