Just got back from Aldi myself with a 4 pack of Rheinbacher (tins - 3.49 quid) and a 6 pack of Steinhäuser (bottles - 4.49 quid). I enjoy the taste of both and they are priced really well for the quality you get. Great 'cost of living' beers for us in the UK. Some may find the Steinhäuser quite dry but it doesn't bother me in the slightest
That’s just it mate fantastic for the money can’t go wrong with German brewed beers! I think I actually prefer the steinhauser having drank the rest of the bottle now cheers 🍻
@@thebeermonsterreviews I agree. Have also noticed that the Steinhäuser holds its head better - just seems to be superior to the Rheinbacher all round. Would be interested to know what you think of Feldschlößchen (Asda) its a quid a bottle (500ml) - A german beer made in France!
I've tried both of these and I'm not a fan! They are bitter and taste grassy, not a taste profile I like! I loved the Aldi 1079 pilsner but I've not seen it for months! Currently, I'm all over the Aldi Lock Ten Lager, absolutely love it, imho the best lager you can get from a supermarket! I'd agree with you on the Rhinebacker Wheat beer, it's a cracker!
Oddly enough I bought the Rheinbacher today for the first time because I am really trying to sample different beers since watching your videos. Was always Guinness or some stout 😂. Think it was 1.29 - will let you know when I try it 👍🍺
Having drunk the rest of the pack I also prefer Steinhäuser just has the edge. Patronus is fantastic for the price also reviewed that. Thanks for watching much appreciated cheers 🍻
Got to be honest for the price and what it actually gives for what u are paying then rheinbacher isn’t a bad option at all. Would I go out my way to get it ? No but it isn’t a bad option at all. Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s terrible. Hope u and the family are well mate 👍🏼👍🏼
I buy either of them every week! For the price they are the best supermarket lager by a million trillion miles! Forget your British Brewed pretent Euro beers
Rheinbacher is £2.58 a litre Steinhauser is £2.27
Thanks for working that out mate I’ll pin this comment I think it’s very useful information for people thanks for watching bud cheers 🍻
Rheinbacher is considerably cheaper per litre if you buy a 4 pack of cans.
@@Coxy-b34 thanks very much for the money saving tip cheers 🍻
Steinhauser is the bollox, beer monster, loving your posts, gr8 delivery and your range of facial expressions, so funny 😂
