Still one of the best original films in quite some time. Instead of all this mass produced or re hashing old films and remakes……kudos to all involved in all of them…..
39:30 xD OMG! Josh&Emily impersonating Denis ~W0W! Benicio's answers were so serious, Emily's were str8 to the point but Josh's answers were hilarious, esp the last one he answered about Denis. Never realized how funny Brolin was til now.

One of the reasons why it all works for me is because there is no useless unfitting music, and if there is a song you know its cause they walked in a bar and its on the radio, the rest of the music is there to build tension and not annoy you like these other movies.
I just watched The Big Short for the first time, and there's actually a part where Ryan Gosling is narrating and it starts blasting Sweet Child of Mine, lyrics included, at equal volume so you can't hear him anymore. Whose idea was it to drown out pertinent dialog with music that doesn't even fit the time period (2006-2008)? The editing and sound design were already obnoxious, but that part took it to a new level.

congrats for this one, the sound design in this movie was simply amazing! this combined with a splendid coop with the actors preformances, not even to mention the subject of the movie.
I can not believe I just barely watched both of the Sicario films but I’m glad I finally did.
They’re so Good I’m hooked.
I really hope they make a 3rd, because I know it will be just as Good as the 1st 2 with these creators working together again.

I love that hardcore , intense score he used for this. So cold. Perfect.
Part 1 was way better and I think it’s because Dani didn’t direct part 2. I hope he does part 3, I heard some rumors that Dani may do 3. Fingers crossed, he’s my fav director.

I saw them reversed as well, I saw “ The Day of the Soldado “ 1st and then it led me to this original Sicario film.

Benicio is so humble. He knows he is a way more powerful actor than Emily but like his character in the film, he makes more of an impact with few words and mostly through his actions.
Only a weak commentor has to bring down another actress/actor to raise another up. That is all.

It’s funny how they talk about this character being ‘tough’ because she’s not. If she was tough, she wouldn’t walk away at the end. (Not saying that’s a bad thing. I’d be done too)
But I don't think that's fair. Even the toughest person can have moments of vulnerability, it's part of being human. Otherwise they're not a good character. It was sign it or die and at this point what would her death accomplish?
