I would add an antidarrial, such as Imodium. Nothing like Montezuma's revenge while traveling.

Just found your channel! Good information. I have just recently started carrying a fist aid kit. And we have used it every time.
I also always have mole skin. Great for blisters.

I've taken Dramamine (the less drowsy kind you showed) before when I've gone to high-altitude destinations such as Colorado, and that has helped with adjusting to the altitude. Thanks for letting me know about the blister pads. I easily get blisters on my feet, and I'll try using those the next time I get one on my heel. I'll need to check for similar ones for the toes. When I travel, I always have Pepto Bismol, Tylenol, bandages, and hand sanitizer (I've carried some even before the pandemic).

You were ahead of the time with the sanitizer 😊 Good to know about the dramamine. I didn't used to get motion-sick when I was younger but it's such an awful feeling!

So organized! I’m going to steal your tin idea and put one in my backpack since even when I’m in Amsterdam, I’m often away from home for the entire day.

Please steal all the ideas! 😀 Having the little tin everywhere you go can make annoying moments in life a little better.

I usually travel with Strepsils, paracetamol, lypsyl (lip balm), a few plasters in different sizes, hand sanitiser, sometimes tick tweezers, and one or two basic wound cleaning wipes (e.g. Kruidvat wondreinigingsdoekjes; also helpful to remove ice cream and other sticky stuff, in case a regular tissue doesn't do the job and there's no sink). Those compeed blister packs are a really good tip. Ever tried carrying that first aid kit in your hand luggage on a plane (wondering whether those scissors are allowed)?

Great list and great question! I haven't taken it as a carry-on I don't think. BUT they are sharp in terms of being able to hurt somebody with the tip, so maybe it would be ok.

Wow, nice first aid kit, seems you covered everything, looks good. I think some items are personal and everybody has different personal items! 👍

Absolutely! Everyone needs to figure out exactly they will need 😊

Great vid. If you go by plane be sure it's not in your hand luggage but in your suitcase.
missing paracetamol, rennie (anti stomach-acid) and a tick remover (Tick-out set) .

Thought I mentioned paracetamol. But absolutely, it's a must-have! Pepto is the American thing for stomach acid issues, so it's good to know the name here! Tick remover is a great addition when going anywhere you might get them. Funny story: I literally grew up in the woods on a mountain and never got a tick. I went to Belgium and sat next to a lake to eat a sandwich and got one. You never know!

I end up carrying a microfiber backed cloth for glasses. Got sick of replacing the wipes all the time. It doesn't seem like they really need a wet cleaner to clear them up.

I travel with way less. A few paracetamols and some loperamide, just in case.
That is normally enough for me.
Everyone has different needs though, so thank you for showing

    • @aWanderlustForLife
      @aWanderlustForLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Ah, that's a good one to add. It's a bit different than Pepto but good to know the options here. I find that to be hard to figure out...the right meds to get here. Thanks for sharing your list!
