I'm forced to look at...wait for it...his talent. Good cover not his best. That's Kanye's Ultra Lightbeam. He brilliantly made it dark and bluesy.

You are so right! Ultralight beam is a great cover of his. I adore his talent. And Harry is using his platform to introduce his supporters to other genres. Nothing is off limits, not hip hop, not country, not rock, not R& B. He does it all. He is versatile, has a soul which thrives off being creative, exploring and not being afraid. I love him for that!
I think it says a lot that his greatest competition is himself, though.

I'm ready to adopt this "kid"! He's adorable and charming. He covers the songs from my era of coming of age, and the songs suit him. Don't get me wrong--I think Harry could sing the phone book and be great, but this mix of his original stuff and rockin' the songs from my generation is so fun because he seems comfortable with the vibe and he has the late 60s through 70s vibe of performers then. Watching him perform this Joni classic is such a treat! I've caught videos of him performing Fleetwood Mac songs, and even with Stevie Nicks--perfection! PS and BTW, his cover of Lizzo was so fun and proves he is having fun and doing his own thing. Keep doing you, Harry cuz you are a cool, and very fun and talented entertainer!☮❤🌻

There is a kind of professional trauma among many talent show artists. They are pushing their vocal limits neglecting the message they're ought to convey with that. They think the audience needs the impressive vocals but frankly there are too many people with amazing voices and, sadly, they are only interesting during a particular season of that show. Each year there are new "better" talents showing up, people just get tired to keep up I assume.
Harry Styles is a rare talent show alum who, having amazing tembre and range, doesn't try to impress people with it, he just makes music he loves and he means what he sings. It's so pleasant to hear and watch, it's addictive)) No wonder he gets it all, brits, grammys, ivor novello nominations and many more. He's genuine, you can't fake that)
